Sorry but this is just a horrible sim, even though it has (or had) lots of potenial.

- Too many bugs and glitches for a start, both visual and audio.
- Seriously lacks content, it only has two small maps and the rest of it is paid DLC.
- AI is stupid.
- controls are very complex and can be very complicated.

in short there are better sims out there and there's one upcoming bus sim that looks good, looks similar to ETS2.

@weir69 yes well to be fair the game is not "too" bad, it just needs to be more stable, iron out the bugs and such.

@White, in all fairness the amount of content is not bad. I’m not saying it’s good either but it is high quality and time and effort was put into making it as realistic as possible. The phrase quality not quantity comes to mind which is something that can’t be said for many simulators.

Also to clarify, the DLC is not made by the original devs but by 3rd parties and is published by Aerosoft.

you are also missing the point, why the hell should I waste my money buying a game with little content just to download free user based content? the game may as well be free itself. the lack of content in the game is a joke.

@White it sounds as if you would prefer a more ETS2 style in OMSI, things such as simplified controls and more base content, and that’s before mentioning a game that looks good because it has an ETS2 style.
If you are not willing to count freeware, then you should have researched some more before buying this. Some games revolve around community made content which keeps them alive. When such content becomes a large part of the game it would be naive to overlook it.
Oh, I’m sorry if I made myself look “stupid”. Perhaps you should look in the mirror at your short-sighted review and think again.

@Weir69 first of all I wasn't comparing it to ETS2 so you might want to work on your reading skills.

secondly I'm not complaining about the game controls being too realistic, I didn't recommend mainly because of the bugs and lack of content which btw mods don't really count.

also, it helps if you think about what you're going to saying before typing it so to not make yourself look stupid ;)

Hmm...
"Lacks content" - Have you seen the hige amounts of freeware for this sim?
"Controls are very complex" - Do you realise this is a sim in it's most true form. How can you discredit a simulator for being too realstic. You can't compare this with ETS2, both have different aims so perhaps you should review this simulator for what it is rather than trying to compare it to a diferent game.

ets2 looks a lot better imo
