I have acquired every achievement, have completed runs with both characters with completely different loadouts, have found every secret and story memento, have gone all out in endless mode, and am currently starting my first NG+ run.

This is a $60+ experience, sold as a $20 package, and the $10 for the soundtrack will become an essential purchase after hearing the music in game.

Overall, FMF is well optimized, and has superb gameplay, complimented with the awesomely gruesome art style and character design. Its feel is between classic build engine FPS, and the modern "old school throwback," that many other developers have tried, and failed, to create to such a level that Byte Barrel has achieved here, and with such incredible replayability involved too.

The Lovecraftian genre, in the world of gaming, is surprisingly lacking. To the point where there are really only a handful of outstandingly good entries, at least in the shooter category. So having this game to fulfill that need to face an armada of unknown horrors, is just perfect. And with the sequel on the way, it is absolutely worth playing now, more than ever.

Well done.

Almost four years to the day, and the developers still haven't figured out how to make a another form of storage other than your shared container that fills up immediately.

10/10

For the love of God, please. Send a cardboard box or something, I can't even remember the last time I was able to sprint.

You love Castlevania? You love Symphony of the Night? You are jsut looking for a game to hold you over until Bloodstained comes out? Chucklefish has got your back.

Pros:
- Old School SOTN Combat that has been sprayed with 2018 Febreeze, The controls for keyboard have been thought about and feel comfortable from the start, controller works just as good which is what I have been using now as well

- Music will make you cry bloody tears.

- Enviornments are well built and thought of, like the days of old the level itself is what helps to teach the players about secrets, mechanics, as well as the way forward.

- Creative boss fights are a good challenge that do not feel like they are unbeatable

- The Time Mechanic, for how I have been using it, is marvelous. A simple addition and not as creative to the simple minded. But when practiced with it can do more than just save your skin, it can also lead to some awesome secrets by using your enemies as a boost in your jump.

-Quest system is not overzelous, it has no fat in how it plays along with the gameplay, making it so that it feels like an extra activity you can do to help out, and not cramp Metroidvania style

The so-so's:
- I personaly am ok with the story, I love that fact that almost every cutscene can be skipped. So if you are on your second or third playthrough you can just go right back to gameplay. This game has the Aria/Dawn of Sorrow SOTN feel to the cutscenes and that makes me willing to watch and read the text rather than crankin out 350,000 presses on the X button. However I always give a rightful point to devs who give the option.

Point being, the story is their for those who choose to enjoy. This game is really meant to be about the gameplay, just like the games that this succeded to replicate.

Cons:

- Not even a con really, it's just odd The reverse mirrored menu for orbs and equipement can mess with you a little

- Like super short. For a game like this especially for a first playthrough it should be 10+ hours, 10 at the least for a first time playthrough up till the story's end not including the extra exploration. ***Still completely worth it since there is the exploration of any undiscovered areas as well as end game plus and increased difficulties***

Solid Metroidvania styled game that has enjoyment for anyone interested.

10/10

Basically play as a team of mediocre contractors that faces off against an army of tank top wearing akimbo Mac 11 wielding Robocop aiming X-ray vision having AI ♥♥♥♥♥ and then have 1 side mission section with the real OG ghost recon squad.

But you team up with Sam Fisher, select members of Rainbow Team, and you get to "Hunt" the Predator

trading the identity of a loved series with cameos from every other one...

80's Movie bad guy aim/10

Misses the target but keeps something cool alive in a way.

But in all seriousness, my final thoughts:

If you want to get lost in a game and just do the simplistic shooter stuff for a while. Then I guarantee you will lose the same amount of hours to this game that I did.

BUT, if you want to deal with the most anti player friendly AI, Movement, and RNG overall, then prepare for the the ultimate instant spawn, surprise anal sex crap fest this is of the Ubisoft Garbage Dump.

Ok, for real. The short version and literally all you need to make your decision..

Presence of fun for a price, literally and mentally.

You Rip and Tear, even though you aren't DOOM guy. But there is most likely a mod for that.

The Story So Far... 2017108

Fantastic, first off, the game has way more weapons without dlc to start off than the previous games, a good plus. The gameplay is great and at its peak, no longer do you have to welrod your way through a mission the suppressed ammo makes it more enjoyable because you can actually use your sniper rifle without going loud.

The levels are beautiful and and less restrictive with the climbing implement that Karl had inherited from our boy Ezio, although it is very minimal in some areas. Not being able to vault a stick fence is pretty dumb.

The binoculars have been improved giving you no limited tagging and a full Batman esc. profile on the enemy classification and range which is excellent making them even more useful.

The difficulty and game options is extensive and perfect for a game like this, making so that if you want realism for health on BOTH ends, you can lower your character's health AND the enemy's, and there is still more that even I am tweaking with.

The bad things that have stuck with the series are almost completely gone, enemies are still very auto aim AI esc. sometimes adn they still take a ridiculous amount of heasdshots sometimes to take down. 3 headshots from a welrod is just inexcusable, but none of this happens too often which is the better part of this. Although it shouldn't happen at all but oh well

The multplayer, sadly to say, is on life support now. There was only one match that had players and it had 10 people in it. Which is a d a mn shame because the multiplayer is amazing and the best it has ever been in my opinion. It refines how it was in SE3, where as every player can go anywhere on the map unlike SEV2 where one team was on side and the opposite team was on the other. It felt fair so far. If you buy (which I recommend) it is worth checking for a match or finding some friends.

To conclude, from what this game has offered me so far has been nothing but quality gaming. I hope It stays this way, but as of now, my opinion stands that this game is the must buy of the series. Hell, I think I can go as far as to say that the DLC might be worth it.....no not even nevermind dlc sucks in gaming now. But it the game itself is worth it.

Beats down and calls an ambulance for any other shooter you can even try to compare it too. The mechanics are simple enough to learn easily at the start and expansive enough for you to learn new things constantly as you blast everything to the next channel with the one of the most loveable arsenals ever put into a shooter.

It is still heavilly populated for people who like online, it has brilliant variety and settings for offline bot matches, and the replayability is so high you are gonna see Jesus Christ walk in and ask what server you are on.

Flack Cannon/10

A shooter that should be in every true gamers library and a perfect way to cure yourself of CaseOpeningneosis.
