I've played about 250 hours of The Binding of Isaac and a little over 100 hours of Nuclear Throne.

I love this game. Can't stop playing.

It's repetitive, so if you don't like the policework then you won't like this game. I liked the policework, personally.

This game is hilarious and great. The Eruogamer review has it exactly right--an adventure narrative that's a mix of Being John Malkovich (with Adaptation-like comments on narrative) and Portal, especially Portal 2. Incredibly self-aware. The voice acting is perfect. Overall, it's just absurd. Freaking absurd.
