Mechanically dull. Very little sense of speed or control. While not the best comparison considering SNOW's emphasis on realism and immersion, it seems little consideration was put into retaining certain aspects of the SSX series that were executed far better in the early 2000's. E.g. Varying depth of snow and trail left from the board, more particle effects to enhance the sense of speed, stopping and turning merged into the same axis (as they are both the same mechanic in real life).

Overpriced DLC.

Edit: The worst part is that its remaining fans still defend this obvious cash grab of a game. They write long winded posts on reddit that can basically be summarized by "you all knew the risk because look theres a disclaimer. If you had any expectations of reasonable developement times you're dumb." After 5 years in early access it's still borderline unplayable. That is indefensible. They've even been releasing other games in the meantime that have been recieved very poorly. Developement time and money that could have been used on the game we've already paid for. If you're dumb enough by this point to think that the game has been worked on in good faith all this time than you deserve to be ripped off.
