Match Engine is utterly appalling with unhuman behavior from players on a regular basis (e.g. Unchallenged passback travelling at 2Mph causing my keeper to trip up and lie on the floor for a good 10 seconds so he had a good view to watch the ball eventually roll in.)

AI conducts woeful transfer business with you and other clubs

Many of the results are randomised and a lot of the time the script has been written before you even start the game (Last day of the season 2nd place Liverpool needed to beat 1st place Chelsea at Stamford Bridge by 7 goals to clinch the league on goal difference and scored 9 goals in the second half to overturn a 2 goal defecit)

Any complaints about these bugs to Sports Interactive just get dismissed as "It's your tactics." One time I was 15 points clear at the top of League 2 being unbeaten all season and went on to lose every single one of my 12 games left and didnt even make play-offs, I wrote a complaint to SI and their excuse was "Throughout the season teams adjust to your tactics and know how to play it."

Poor game, don't buy it and let SI get away with making the same crap game each year.
