If you like Diablo 2 you will like this. Same exact gameplay style, same skill trees, same item concepts, same concepts all around. Only three characters although there are many more you can play if you download mods. Story is weaker than Diablo 2, gameplay is equal to Diablo 2, and its an extremely good game for what it is.
Can get many hours of gameplay out of the game and there is some replayability.
