South Africa's official online petition to bring Call of Duty: Black Ops dedicated servers to south africa

Attention all Call of Duty series players:

To our great dismay, it has come to our attention that South Africa will not be receiving dedicated servers for the upcoming new release in the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops. We feel that something must be done.

According to this announcement on mygaming.co.za:

... the director of planetcallofduty.com and planetmedalofhonor.com, Josh Peckler, tweeted the following: “Let's do this! First off dedis will be rented from GameServers only!”

This means that gameservers.com will be the only agent supplying dedicated servers. They go on to state numerous locations where servers will be supplied, NOT INCLUDING SOUTH AFRICA.

They contacted gameservers.com, Activision, Treyarch and the local gaming companies IGame and Webafrica in the hope for feedback.

They received the following letter from gameservers.com:

"I'm afraid we do not have a datacenter in that region at this time. We are looking to open new locations were there is high demand, but I don't have any specific information as to if/when we would be doing so in the region."
