Absolutely fantastic game that recreates the magic of old school Diablo before Blizzard ruined it. The complexity can be a bit daunting for a new player, so I'd absolutely recommend finding and following a guide for your character.

Vewrrah Good

Short but delightful romp through the insanity of Alex Jones... and the sanity too. Nothing like a good ol' centaur ride to really bring back the nostalgia for Metal Slug!

I'm kind of split on this one after about 2.5 hours in. I'll come back and revise after I finish the game but so far....

It's definitely woke out of the gate, in a way that really doesn't do favors for the story. Prepare to get hit by multiple woke-bots pretty early on and get preached at considerably. Even the bot you're supposed to come to know and love is over-bearing and kind of suffocating.

The introductory story itself is thankfully brief, climate change yada yada got so cold everyone had to go furry (guess they stopped using fossil fuels and just spliced in all the furries?) to survive. Funny contradictory part is AIs all run the show, so guess that's an admission of sorts.

Mechanics are fun, up to a point. It's a puzzle game, but they quickly exhaust the depth of said puzzle game (insofar as I've played). I guess I need to plow through the story more, but it's kind of a chore with explicit political lampooning and over the top subversion of the really solid original narrative (Could've been a stellar bildungsroman).

I'm going to keep playing, but for now this is a "YIKES! Political diatribe as a game" for now.

Great visual novel-esque with enough gameplay to not be a static experience. Fantastic 80s tastic vibes.
