It's well written. For the level at which they're trying to represent a real D&D game, it's well (though not perfectly) coded. It's fun. And I would assume they are going to write a whole bunch more games on this platform (which they should)

Early Access Review
Much improved since it was in early access, and most fun with a friend or two.

Early Access Review
This is almost a great game, if not for some easily fixable design decisions. You start ridiculously weak -- not even as well equipped as the dozen horsemen your brother wanders off with. You can hire hundreds of troops for the price of equipping yourself as well as one of them. Smithing would be cool, but there are hundreds of parts to randomly learn, most of which do nothing; and you can't make armor or bows or arrows. The inventory system is awful. The system for giving orders in battle seems almost random. Your troops are grouped by function in battle (good) but not in the troop management screens. (How many archers do I have??) The six fugitives you have been chasing with fifty men-at-arms will charge your archers. Mounted or not, you (on your own) cannot flee an enemy on foot. Argh!

Still a little rough around the edges, but overall an excellent version of the Crusader Kings idea.

Well written, this is a game for adults. Lots of science and math sprinkled in along with the sci-fi.

Nicely made, not too high spec, and fun.

A solid, if not excellent, rendition of the board game Terraforming Mars. No bugs but some more polish would be nice (e.g. it shouldn't ask you for confirmation on mandatory choices, e.g. passing when you can not build anything more).

The Radio Appalachia soundtrack is fantastic; otherwise Fallout 76 feels like "Fallout for Kiddies". Conversations are painfully slow, combat is glitchy, and there's none of the grittiness and complexity I expect from a Fallout game. As with most games written for the limitations of a console controller, the UI is inconsistent and arbitrary. Fallout 4 and Skyrim had the same issue, but mods mostly fixed it.

With the right set of mods, and set on 'permadeath', this is a really fun and quirky game with strong influences from Firefly.
