Das Spiel ist verglichen mit dem 1. Teil der Reihe einfach lieblos gestaltet worden! Wo bleiben die schönen europäischen Altbauten, die engen Straßen etc. ? Das Spiel wirkt komplett grau, der Multiplayer buggt und die Städte sind lieblose HOCHHÄUSER-Bauten wie in amerikanischen Großstädten à la New York! An die europäischen Spieler wurde bei diesem Spiel wohl kaum gedacht. Man könnte das Spiel auch: Cities in Motion 2 (New York Edition) nennen, dann würde es passen! Sie hätten definitiv beim Stil des 1. Teils bleiben sollen! Leider ein richtiges, liebloses FAIL-Spiel!
