I have to admit it feels weird to be writing a recommendation on NBA2K11, I'm six foot eight and I play Basketball and Volleyball so I thought I would give 2K11 a spin. First 2K11 is designed for the console or a controller hook-up. The game is cool because for a couple of hours you get to be some of the world’s best ballers, however playing this game on the PC is awfully hard to do unless you have the ability to understand each move and feint basketball has while scrambling your fingers across a keyboard, it isn’t really that fun. I feel too much bias to feel good about giving this game a grade so I'll say this, the game would be awesome if I actually took the time to understand every move and configuration this game has to offer however I don’t have the patience to do that. I strongly suggest buying this game for the console and not you’re PC. I ended up buying this game for my Xbox 360 and decided I'm horrible at it so I ended up giving it away. I'm not going to dish hate where I can’t play but if this is your thing by all means get 2K12 or 11 it looks gorgeous and the idea of the game is brilliant.

Gaming has taken giant leaps in the short time they have been around we live in a Call of Duty era where titles such as Halo and CoD blow the competition out of the water. It’s sad for me to see my little cousin believe that games like CoD are the best on the market. Only recently have I been looking through my old games and I saw Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. I first saw this game on the Xbox at a friend’s house and immediately wanted to play/own it. I remember not understanding how to play the title due to its unique style of paused game play. KOTOR is one of my favorite games. You create a protagonist that wakes up on the Endar Spire a battle cruiser that is being attacked by Malak. You soon take refuge on Dantoine where you learn of your force powers. The remainder of the game is a whirlwind of awesome, the Star Wars universe if open and crawling with adventure and glory. Due to the game's age many people pass the game off as "lame" or say "the graphics suck" however the rich plot and choices you are free to make give the player a feeling of freedom and excitement that most games today lack. I give this awesome title a 9/10

Eidos' Tomb Raider Franchise began in the early 90's but my first Tomb Raider was Legend. Most of the non-gaming community views Lara Croft as a Sex Icon with an inflated chest and unnatural body index. When I first approached Tomb Raider I almost turned down the title judging the cover of the game as bait and hook, I felt the game was trying to sell the physic of the character rather than the game itself. I now own 5 Tomb Raider games and enjoy the titles of the first female protagonist to make it big in gaming. Legend is awfully easy; comparatively to its predecessors the game's puzzles are obvious and painfully dull at times. The game when released was praised for its graphics and surroundings but heavily criticized for its lack of gameplay depth. I beat the game in less than 9 hours and could have done it faster. Legend was originally designed for the console and following Angel of Darkness Legend did little to raise the expectations of tomb raiders. I'd give Legend a 4/10 the graphics for its time were awesome but it lacks any depth in plot and fictional believability. There is a reason why Eidos is now owned by Square Enix, the new mature outlook of the new 2013 title will send games like Uncharted under a rock and that I'm sure of. If you are looking for a TR game I'd steer clear from Legend.
