This game is an absolute blast. It's hard to effectively convey how much fun this game is, because it doesn't seem like it would be fun and the trailers and screenshots do not do it justice, at all. But believe me when I say; if you're looking for a truely intense zombie apocalypse survival experience that is as realistic as it gets, where almost every moment incites true butterfly-inducing terror that resonates with your innermost being, while giving you all of this glistening, pant-soiling brilliance in a slightly retro, top-down, isometric view. This is your game.

I mean, for pete's sakes, you have to change your bandages at least twice a day or you run the risk of making your wounds infected, which will slowly kill you, unless you disinfect them with alcohol and a sterilized bandage. You have to cover up windows with blankets, otherwise zombies will see you/lights inside houses and they absolutely, definitely, positively will check and break a window. When you get bitten? It slowly gets worse as you succumb to the zombie virus, you don't die instantly. You get paranoid of anything, you become fatigued and, after about a day, you die. Slowly, but surely. This game is cool as all hell.

The controls are easy to grasp and the game runs smoothly, even if you're running the server software the game comes with and hosting at the same time, which is something I do frequently, to play with friends. It's also very easy to set up and comes with it's own server options.

Speaking of options. Holy hell, the custom options for starting a new game are phenominal. You get to customize what your character is like, down to their personality as well as how often weapons spawn, how often things decay and what type of zombies you're dealing with. You could opt for a 28 Days Later feel, making them fast, strong and generally a massive pain in the backside, or if you're more into your Romero lore, you could set them up to be classic, brittle shamblers that seem to spot you from 700 lightyears away.

Oh yeah, it's hard as hell as well. Don't expect to live forever, like other zombie games seem to allow you to do. This game is very realistic and eventually, you'll most likely run out of food and water. If you do manage to ensure your indefinite survival, then congratulations. You'd probably end up surviving a real zombie apocalypse.

This game. Is awesome. 11/10. Best indie effort in ages.

Excellent game that follows a similar format to the hit flash game, Pandemic. You create your own virus and it's your job to help it grow and adapt, eventually (And hopefully) resulting in "Complete global saturation". Tons of stuff to unlock as well, but most of it is pretty difficult to unlock, will take hundreds, if not thousands, of attempts at infecting and killing off every human on Earth.

My only bug with this game is how it considers that developing a Human cure for the Simian virus (Planet Of The Apes) entirely ends the game, despite having large amounts of intelligent Apes, in large colonies that would, in no way, recieve the treatment. Supposedly curing the Humans makes all the monkeys on Earth vanish overnight, according to this game.

I hope this eventually gets fixed. Because it makes no sense. But yeah, pointless Planet Of The Apes content issue aside.

10/10. A pleasant experience that is both fun and replayable.

It only took 30+ years for someone to make an RPG game about D&D, from the third person perspective.

I can't stress enough how much I love this game. It's just so unique and lovable.

The dialogue is great and the amount of things you can do in the game are ridiculous. One thing I love is that the game rewards you for pushing yourself to the limit. The harder you make it on yourself, the more EXP and Gold you'll earn, making the game easier overall, later down the line. But give yourself an easy time and the game will become brutal at the later stages.

There are multiple classes (Some are secret. Shhhh...) to choose from and multiple players for those characters. For example, the Hipster playing as a Druid or your Grandma playing as a Necromancer. Make your own party and formulate your own way to win. Anything is possible. Single target DOT team. An AoE team. 'Classic' 1 tank, 3 DPS and a healer. Whatever you want to do.

There are microtransactions apparent in the game, but they are about as pointless as a chocolate radiator. Best not to bother with them. In fact, just forget I said anything at all.

Like classic RPG's? Buy it. Have some fun. 10/10.

Perhaps one of the best F2P games on Steam. Tight controls, feels really nice to play and is very fun.

Gun customisation is awesome and some of the stuff you can make is crazy. Team-healing shotguns. Beam sniper rifles. Cannonball-firing miniguns. Fire elemental laser. Tesla assault rifle. All sorts of crazy crap. Despite the customisation and variety, all gun combinations seem to have been balanced extremely well as there aren't really any weapons that stand out from the rest as being overpowered. They will simply have disadvantages and advantages based on what you've made them into, so just create the guns that suit your playstyle best.

Levelling up in the game can be quite slow at times, taking on a similar levelling pace to Call Of Duty 4/MNC. The in-game currency (Called Blutons) accumulation rate is also quite slow, so unlocking gun parts shouldn't be something done on a whim. Thankfully, the game lets you try before you buy, in an almost seamless (In terms of loading time) shooting range. So you can get a feel for what you're crafting.

This game does have microtransactions, but are facilitated in a similar way to Gotham City Impostors, League of Legends, etc. That is to say; they are merely cosmetic items and XP/Money boosters. Nothing that's P2W. For those more interested in the microtransactions, the gold bundles are fairly priced, in my opinion and you get quite a bit of bang for your buck. There are also other little items in the marketplace, such as icons, etc.

Have 5 hours on record and counting and I'm having a blast so far and will most likely be playing Loadout into the foreseeable future.

Quite a difficult game that requires a lot of strategy and several plays to even get relatively far into the plot.

Not for the faint of heart, but highly enjoyable, once you get up to speed with it.

Perhaps the best RTS I've ever played and I've played a heck of a lot of 'em.

There is no end to the playability that is presented in Civ V. The game is beautiful, as well as challenging and will provide many, many, many hours of gameplay. There are an almost absurd number of factions to choose from, all of them with their own specialties that utilize different playstyles as well as multiple ways to win games, granting almost endless replayability. Perhaps one game, you'd play as Japan and establish an autocratic government, who will win by global domination. Perhaps another time you'll take a shot as America and create democracy, winning the game by becoming the democratic world leader. But if you're feeling really kooky; why not play as the Spartans, establish a scientific society and master space flight? Regardless of how crazy you want it, you can probably do it. It's all up to you.

Ever since Alpha Centauri for the ye olde PC, I have always enjoyed a good Sid Meier's game, because there are no other games like these that are as intriquate, difficult, interesting or fun. This game just WORKS, where so many others end up being clunky and poorly designed.

If you're into RTS games, want to experience something incredible and you have the patience to endure games that can last multiple hours, pick this up, you won't regret it at all. I won't, however, suggest this to people with a short attention span and/or a lack of patience. You won't enjoy it.

Surprisingly addictive, lots to research and do.

I didn't think that this game would be that difficult, but heck, if you don't know what you're doing, you can go bankrupt in minutes. Get it while it's on sale. I don't think it's worth it's full price.

Still, a very intriguing and addicting game.
