This game is already more than 7,5 years old and yet I enjoyed it even more than some of the FPS I've played recently that came out in the past 3 years. Why? Half Life 2 has an unique gameplay that combines many FPS styles: Hit and run, playing like a lone wolf or with allies on your side, following the directions or commanding your squad etc. As well as it has some puzzle elements and a real usage of the environment as you can pick up objects with a gravity gun to throw them, use as a cover or to build your path by placing them where you need to. Sadly, there are hardly any games released nowadays that combines many different playstyles, there are usually focused on a single style of gameplay.
A must have for every gamer!
