Game is fun, the controls are jsut a bit different than previous total war games because most units are ranged units, but i loved the game so much i watched the patriot 3 times O_o

too fun, loved pikmen, and this game reminded me of it but more of a dark humor kind of way

Spectacular! Gameplay is just like all the other total war RTS games where you control units of hundreds of soldiers at a time on the battlefield, or control sea vessels, but managing your empire is done on a turnbased style where players are shown a map of Japan in which players control provinces on said map where they can build buildings, manage the populace, and research the arts to further the advancement of your empire. The game also offers a nice historical campaign that can shed some light on feudal Japan. Visuals are stunning as you watch armies clash against one another as each individual soldier fights to the death. Not only is the unit detail outstanding but the environmental detail is breathtaking. The audio is also well done offering traditional japanese style music that not only adds depth to its realism but also showing how authentic the experience can be as you hear each individual sword clash witnessing the carnage on an immense scale.
