I don't know how many thousands of hours I have in bg/totsc/bg2/tob/sod, but it's many. I bought iwd back in the day, too, but I just never really played it much back then. Now, coming back to all of these older games, I recently played through an entire bg/sod/bg2 game, and I've finally picked up IWD and played it a bit, too. It's great fun for any fan of infinity engine games!

Real D&D, feels just like 3.0 or 3.5 games. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've played POE a couple of leagues over the years, and I really appreciate that the devs continue to strive to improve the game.

I played 2000 hours before brave new world came out, then kind of just left the civ franchise for a few years. Every couple of years I'd play a few games then put it down again. However, I finally took the time to learn all the new stuff from bnw and gods+kings about 6 mos ago, now I've played it 900 hours or so this year. The game is so much better than the original base civ 5 game, it's finally a worthy successor to civ 4. Too bad it took me so long to finally play it with all of the expansions, I highly recommend it.

I still like civ 5 better, but I've only played base civ 6 thus far.

I've played this game numerous times since it first came out 20+ yrs ago. The EE version is a huge improvement imho, I won't play the original version at all anymore.

I first played pool of radiance back in the late 80's, and have played entire gold box set, entire BG series, nwn, and nwn 2 a ton over the years. BG series is by far my faborite.

Siege of Dragonspear feels more like a DLC for baldur's gate than a standalone game, but, to me, that's not a bad thing. It incorporates some of the mass-battle feel that you see a bit in Hordes of the Underdark, which could bother some people, but I was fine with that too. That's different from anything else in the bg series, but as it game out so much later it went over well.

Overall, I'd say that as long as you view it as a quality DLC or custom module that actually works without hours needed to debug like most of the online mods I find, that you'll enjoy it.

I bought the game over 3 yrs ago and never really started playing, glad that I finally dusted it off. Feels like a newer/improved version of baldur's gate so far.

I originally bought bg2 when it first came out nearly 20 years ago. It was an amazing game back then, and it has aged really well.

Great expansion, a worthy addition to the excellent Grim Dawn world. New mastery is great, itemization improvements across the board, and, since the expansion hit, we've had 2 additional huge content patches that have further-refined the game. Great job, Crate, keep it up!
