Nice little game about girls and tank combat in WW2, you think thats crap…than move on :D It´s still girls, tanks and ww2.

The game makes fun, is easy to learn and not to complicatet. If you simply want to drive an tank and go out killing other tanks in ww2 stylish missions this game is for you. The graphic is a little bit old but matches the game style.

The balance needs an overhaul here and there and you cant hope to play a historical correct game. Some Missions are only beatable if you grind some points and buy better tanks (who didn´t appear in the time period).

Grinding function very easy, even if you lost an mission you got some points. With that points you can train your crew or buy new tanks. Later you can go back to older missions and play them with other tanks you bought and got the points for it. In my playthrough I earnde enought points out oft he mission so I didn´t need to much farming lower tier missions.

Some cons are the partialy failed translation and the horrible performance during the last mission (Kursk), it´s a lag fest even on an high end Gaming Rig. 90% of the missions run smooth but Kursk, hell thats another story.

Maybe one thing fort he devs. The Panther, even if he is an medium tank, has an better front armor than the tiger. The inclined, modern front armor of the panther gives it an effective 140mm armor compared to the old school 110mm front armor from the Tiger. And the KwK 42 Gun from the Panther has more penetration power than the 8.8 from the Tiger I. Even without backround knowlage a simple look at wiki may help.

I hope one day game devs didn´t only see Medium Tank and Heavy Tank and think Heavy MUST be better at any price. For sure the Tiger got more allaround armor, but not in the front :D

Early Access Review
I can recommand the game If you like visual novels and have the patience to dive in the stroy. The story is presented in a nice pacing so some quite moments changes with scarry ones. In this state it looks like some stroypoints are set but the player can choose the way to it, with small different outcomes. It´s too early to say „your choice matters“ but the first two chapters have the potential to give at least three total different paths for the story to evolve. And maybe at the end your choice matters. The replayability looks great so far but the story is also very short. After 4 houers I got three different pathes (idk if there are more) and all where more or less scarry.

I hope the futuer chapters will be little bit longer.

I like the black and white stylo oft he game and the music. What I don´t like, but thats only my personal taste, ist he russian voice. The mature characters are okay but the kids sounds annoying and it takes a while I getting used to them.

All over all I feel entertained so the game in this state is a 8/10 and I realy hope fort he next episodes.

The first time I heard from this game was in the early 2019 and I am not very confident that it will be an full success at release. But over the time I think I fall a little bit in love with it and “ohhh my goodness evil things…” preordered it and now after around 40h in game I am more than satisfied.

At my rig the game runs smooth on ultra settings (I think one rtx lightning option can be set at “insane” what I didn´t do), so almost all options are maxed. I encounter some small bugs, but they aren´t gamebreaking. One car looks like an ugly pile of pixels and than build up in seconds. Sometimes if I drive with an motorcycle and drive from one district to another for a second or so my char hovers above his ride, naked down from the hips. Disturbing at first but nothing more and It didn´t happen every time. Looks like it is an clothing / ride / daytime combination that’s trigger that bug. But other than this I didn´t notice. Loading times ingame aren´t existing or are very well hidden behind elevator rides or something like this (I belive there aren’t anyone). From settings to game and back, after a save they are very short. Shorter than the Witcher loading time on the same rig.

The storyline of the game is awesome and even If I was concerned about the FP view it was the right decision. The world if far more immersive and it gives an all overall more “you are in this world” feeling than TP ever can. The decisions V had to take matches almost (not ever) with my own and are more than okay. The conversations aren´t boring, if you want to play V. If you only want to go out and kill kill kill, maybe than story driven game´s aren’t for you and the RPG part can be a little bit longe sometimes.

Witcher is nice but Night City is paradise. The city is breathing atmosphere all overall. The graffiti, the sound, the lightning the dense street population, all looks right and screams cyberpunk.

Full of content, full off people and there is action everywhere. I almost don’t use the fasttravel terminals because its far to cool to listen to the radio until you drive to the city and simply watch…in witcher (and I like the game realy) there is nothing to do between point A and B. Go and kill some monster in repeative combat without any meaning. Go to a board, claim some jobs and go…fight monster a, a, a, b, a, b, c, and so on collect the reward and do the same again, again, again. In CP 2077 all this comes in a more realistic way, you got called, you got mailed, your contacts reach out for you and so on. Random encounters have almost an victim, a little story in it and the world response to your actions.

The characterbuild and leveling system is good. It´s honores your action and gives you progress dependent on your playstyle but didn´t force you to farm this or this skill over and over again. If you decide to interact with the world, fight, sneak, hack, shoot, stab, hide and so on your character got the points for it. The enemy AI isn´t top notch but competitive, they try to circle you, use cams to launch hacks on you (what can be an sting in the ass if between you and the enemy netrunner is an bunch of bullets and muscles). Atm I don’t think one way is easyer or harder. Even with a focus on stealth on hacking I can stand a fight. I can´t charge in and hope to survive, but If you use cover, good aim (yes aim is important), its an very good way to even stay in a gun fight and win.

Gunplay is okay for an RPG, can be a little bit more crunchy but makes fun so far and an MP plays other than an Assault Rifle, Pumpgun, Revolver or Pistol and so on. Close Combat is smooth, give´s some options and feels good even in a FP game.

Clothing / Armor, I can understand that some people didn´t like it because you have to change your clothing sometimes to got more armor and didn´t find that one cool masterpiece you can wear from day one on to the epilogue but again the game didn´t force you to relay on armor (I almost wear some clothing parts I got very early in the game with very less armor rate but cool looking) you can got it on other way. Over Cyberware for example, natural cover and so on. And again it´s a living world go shopping and seek out the dress you want it´s out there for sure. If you only wear the stuff you got from dead grunts, do it but live with it and don’t blame same for their bad taste.

Cops or no cops. I don´t had a problem with cops, I encounter in 40h only two or three fights against cops because I am to stupid. Living world seeks living solution. It´s an urban setting and bullets don’t drop to the ground after they miss a target. Don´t be too trigger happy and set up firefights carful. If you don’t harm pedestrians no cops looks up when you collect bounty´s, stop an robbery or stomps a gang.

Driving wasn´t very pleasant until I got used to the control´s. Then it´s fulfill it´s role. The controls are for people like me who use the arrow keys in favorite a little bit unfamiliar and the lag of full key customization didn´t make it better. But again, after a short while its manageable and runs smooth. One buddy from me was left-handed and he got very big problems with the controls so I hope for him some patch gives us the full key settings and rebindings that are normally standard in 2020.

The learning curve for the game is a little bit flat and it takes a while to manage it but the outcome worth it for sure.

So long text.

I am satisfied with the game. I can´t speak for other who encounter very strange game behavior and bugs or almost low performance (especial on consoles). I simply didn´t.

Cheers and have fun in night city!
