Not A Deathmatch Person.

James D. Carnahan

New Castle, Pennsylvania, United States

I hate gameplay modes that pit me aganst other players. So please, do not invite me to one unless it is for “cheating” Achievements or a Machinima. Or else you will have to put up with my constant complaining. If you do somehow get me into a Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, whatever, make sure everyone knows why I'm there.

What if I told you... that you can play the original Mario Brothers arcade game, while playing Super Mario Brothers 3 for the NES, in the Super Mario All Stars remake, run on an SNES emulator for the Wii, using a Wii U emulator, in a Windows virtual machine, running on Linux, inside the matrix?

One time I was so high that I thought I was a milk shake. I was getting so pissed at everyone who came near me because I was convinced I would spill. On the ride home I sat in the back of the car with my arms crossed over my head for my "lid". The person driving took a really sharp turn and I fell over and I began crying hysterically because I thought I was dead.

There's no "I" in team... unless Apple buys it.

We are about team work, effort, skills, manners, and fun. These five points are the main points I want us to try to stress. We'll take the game seriously under circumstances such as survival and versus and advanced/expert, yet if we like we'll just have good clean fun under easy or normal if we just want to unwind. Mostly we'll probably co-op though.

Hence, if we invite you, it means we see unrealized potential in you and we try our best to work together to help you improve to become better, and in exchange to pay it forward.

You have to be experienced. You need to know how the "director" works and how and when to defend yourself and your fellow team members in multiple situations. Be alert and watchful to threats from every possible angle, expect anything (even the worst) and be extremely careful of friendly fire.

This brings us to being a team player. What we look for in someone is a person who is worried about covering their teammates' asses as much as or more than their own. Know the times to melee when you have to, shoot and run when you have to (like the intro movie) - be able to make quick decisions. If you join a game with us, you must intend to see it through to the very end (finale rescue escape). No one's perfect and not everyone's experienced with the game and all levels of difficulty, and that's okay, we all work as a team and watch out for each other.

Finally, most importantly, remember that this is just a game. Shit happens, accidents can and will happen, in each and every aspect of the game. There's no need for serious verbal abuse of your own team mates - laugh off any mistakes and be chill, and you're okay with us. After all, games are meant for entertainment and fun.

Mature gamers who despise those who don't know how to be a real group and just gauntlet through levels and don't use teamwork.

Don't be selfish, don't take things too seriously, and respect your team members.

This group will also be where I recommend customizations (maps, campaigns, custom models, custom skins) that I enjoy and feel others would also enjoy as well. :)

If you've been invited you've proven yourself to me at being good at the game.
We find you able to be trusting and you've earned respect.
This group is not for bragging rights, but more of a V.I.P. reference point.
Players in this group have proven they can be relied on to help others.
Here you will find quality of a high caliber.
