Verdun is great. If you want a slower paced, more authentic (i.e. pistols and bolt action rifles for 90% of players, and actual trench warfare) tactical shooter and don't mind a few rough edges I would heartily recommend this.

Once you get used to the ebb and flow of the battles, and the fact that you die so easily, you can quickly have a good time. Picking off a few enemies in a row, or storming a trench successfully is satisfying and feels earned.

If you're interested in WW1 and FPS games, then you should probably get this seeing as there isn't much else. Apart from BF1 obviously, which I loved, but won't be to everyone's taste.
