Quite a game. It is challenging but not borderline impossible or "as hard as people make it".
Let's put the bad parts already: the gun' n run levels are not good. As always, not impossible or whatsoever but they're just there to give you a reason to get coins or some no damage run. Majority of bosses are amazing on their own, sadly a very few are questionable at best. Parries can't be consistent but luckily there's a Charm that helps you with that. That's it for negative look.

Game has amazing visuals, music and all. Bosses are memorable and have their own amazing animation and game over quotes. It's also a good way to relieve the 1930s.

Don't be afraid of using Simple mode despite having some phases cut, a good side of Simple mode is being able to unlock the roads faster and learning the patterns of said phases. When you feel you can do better, Regular mode all the way.

Despite many hours played, i've mostly completed main story + side story and grinded a bit, slow player here.
Phantom Brave is one of the many gems that Nippon Ichi brought to life. If you've played Disgaea you might have seen Marona and Ash cameos\DLCs.
Story: Don't come in expecting the typical Disgaea's story style, it goes a bit more serious and "dramatic" while keeping many strong generic characters that you'll see for the entire game. I still recommend it because it's a good change of air from your usual comedy like Nippon Ichi games.

Gameplay: Much like Disgaea but having some unique elements such as free movement, picking up items\weapons scattered around maps, the main heroine's ability: Confine spawning her phantoms in objects (as well having their stats affected) and having a limited about of turns for your phantoms to persist and even corpses that you defeat or get defeated.
You better get used to 50 population in your main hub island, it takes a bit of time and patience.

Music has always been a strong component in Nippon Ichi games and it never fails.

Overall it's a good game, haven't got any trouble running, steady 60 fps, not a single crash and can turn off some settings.

WHAT ARE YOU STANDING UP FOR? WOSHIGE NO, NOT LIKE THIS

For its price and generous initial discount and free DLC for first month, you want to get this game.
Tutorial is extremely helpful, pay attention to it, it shows some tricks that other videogames tend to not show (such the throw whiff tech as an example). Its fps are decent for my laptop (around 45). Online is going to be stable for a while so take that chance.

Story? Heh i guess it's a big loooooooooong thing, you only play for Ram's burgers.
ArcSystem Works seems to have done quite a good job and anxiously waiting for other big titles to release on Steam.

Uhm, ok. This is a game where you really need to enjoy blindly.
Undertale is... quite a RPG game, unique? Special? Something among these terms.

It's really hard to give a proper review.
It's a fun, dark game where the artstyle, music and characters can get attached to you.

It's not even a bad price to begin with and it can eat your hours if you really play it (6-10 or even more).

It's a fun point and click game with a mix of QTE and simple, short puzzles.

This game awards you for observing 24\7 everything and it has a big selection of customes, references and such.
The story can come off weird and silly at start but character's personality and build up shows as you explore your house, do extra cases and read various books. If you miss something after finishing this season, don't worry! You can always repeat the episodes, just like Deadly Premonition.

The game somehow uses lots of power from your computer in episode 1 and at the ending so you might suffer from a huge frame drop, otherwise the mouse controls well and same with a xbox360 controller.

Expect the unexpectable.

Sweet characters, ero, good art, nothing to take this serious honestly.
Just beware that it'll take quite a time for the next chapters.
