Alright alright alright, after few hours in, i'll take a more focused review than my first one.

First of all, a personal premise: the real WRC is not so interesting as few years ago, due to high costs that dropped down top teams and drivers, so the effort to bing back an interesting WRC licensed game is greater than before.
Furthermore, Codemasters needs to be at the top level, now that belongs to EA.

PROS:
+ Great selection of cars from the '67 Mini Cooper to the fastest Ford Puma Hybrid WRC 1, and even few special appearences like '90s kit cars or S1600 or even the Galant Vr4
+ A nice number of locations and power stages, they've learned a lot from Dirt Rally 1 and 2 (plus now you have seasons)
+ Graphically is really good, not astounishing but the graphic engine is solid and versatile
+ Sound is great, not eargasmic as Dirt Rally but it's really really good to hear every single car on every single terrain (if you have played DR1 or 2 you'll notice that they've compressed the audio files)
+ Gameplay is so much better than any other Rally title, it's easy to learn and hard to master, RWD cars are more "real" and less "soap traps", an almost perfect balance between arcade and simulation
+ Many things to do, like Career/My Team, championship, solo, challenges, regularity events and multiplayer
+ MyTeam is back finally!
+ You can build your own car
+ You have a livery editor where you can save your creations
+ More intuitive and versatile clubs for multiplayer
+ Soundtrack is cool

CONS:
- (PARTIALLY FIXED) There are some graphic bugs and animation missteps
- (PARTIALLY FIXED, mirroring is available) Customizations are from a 15 years old game (there isn't even the mirroring system for decals)
- Power stages and paddocks feel lifeless
- "Moments" feels useless, you can complete all the challenges but you don't unlock anything special
- If you want more customization, pay for the season pass
- if you want more customization, pay for EA pass
- if you want every customization, you have to pay season pass + EA pass
- Still no classic Toyotas
- Still you can't use your friends as navigator

SUGGESTIONS:
-> DLCs are welcome for adding few small cars like Toyota Yaris GR R2 or Renault Clio R2 or some R-GT cars like Porsche, Abarth 124 or the new Alpine A110
-> put more spectators on stages, or allow me the choose how much public is there
-> bring back some random events during the stages, like other cars broken down, drones, or some deep ford to cross
-> allow us to share the liveries
-> add some real sponsors for custom liveries

For me a full 9/10

I've waited so long before buying this game.
I've tried it, i wasn't convinced and i didn't wanted to spend 60$ for something "meh".
Now, i've gained for 10$ and here we are:

+ gameplay is impressively fun, sim-cade like the good old TOCA Race Driver
+ Graphic is polished and clean, looks like a previous-gen game with more details
+ Audio is fantastic, Codemasters always know how to nails it
+ Soundtrack is dynamic
+ There is a story mode, a career, a multiplayer section, a quick race section... i mean, you have a lot to do
+ you can join all your friends whenever you like to
+ fine selection of modern cars and classic cars (finally an almost complete Supertouring car grid)
+ tracks are detailed and funny, day/night, sun/rain/snow/sandstorm... you have everything at your disposal

BUT

- Story mode is a Drive To Survive wannabe, with stereotypes, cheeky characters and nothing more than that
- Too few racetracks, and that's a real shame for a racing game like this one
- the dynamic multiplayer is cool but you'll never use it unless you want to make disasters in lobbies
- MyTeam section is questionable (especially liveries and sponsor mechanisms)
- Your teammate is useless
- there are still AI unbalances in time attack events
- the AI sometimes is quiet but sometimes acts like you've insulted its grandma, every driver will avoid you or will crash you
- multiplayer section is average and you don't have an integrated chat system
- Could become boring quickly
- Damage system has improved but could have been better easily

7/10

Already tried 5 years ago. this was its second chance.
And it failed.

pros
+ A good selection of supercars
+ The open world is large and well-builded
+ You can be a criminal or a cop
+ You can customize the car with weapons or decals (decals only for criminal)
+ You can simply take a ride and enjoy
+ car sound and soundtrack fits perfectly

- it's a console-port with every single downside of this EA attitude
- car physics is quite broken
- a lot of unsolved bugs
- the game becomes boring too soon
- the career is a copy-paste from Hot Pursuit
- there are better NFS arcade games out there

After few hours in & out the car, these are some pros and cons:

+ graphic is great, well polished and looks good even on low-spec pc
+ audio is awesome and maintain the Codemasters standard at the highest level
+ gameplay is well balanced, this is a real sim-cade for everyone, from n00bs to real drivers
+ Single player is basically a complete top motorsport experience
+ AI is reactive and smart, it will be tough to overtake Ricciardo or Bottas, a lot easier with Calderòn or Latifi
+ F1 is great, F2 is funny too, Classic f1 cars are simply special
+ MyTeam is a welcome feature and you're not going to substitute other teams
+ Some strategy/managing elements are intriguing
+ Menus and UI are great, not intrusive or messy like other CM games
+ Multiplayer has a lot of potential
+ DLCs and special contents are already interesting, can't wait for the next one
+ The "complete" 2020 F1 season (or as it should be)

- Crashes and spins are good but aren't realistic at all, spins use the "soap effect" and the crashes interrupt the race and nothing more (no "Big Ones" or post-race fights)
- Classic F1 cars deserves more (no '60s '70s or early '80s cars, no mechanical damage, average sound even on the V10 Renault or the V12 Ferrari)
- in MyTeam, the 2nd driver is basically a side grinder character, you can't give him orders or suggestions, you can't be his friend or his enemy
- in MyTeam, liveries and sponsor are all fictionals
- Interviews are too easy and repetitive
- Podium animations are debatable

I played GP2, GP3, F1 99-02, F1 2003, F1 2010, F1 2017 and F1 2020: this is by far the best F1 games of all and maybe the best sim-cade of this generation.
Great job Codemasters!

MyTeam is a great addiction which can be improved a lot more (cough couSTEAMWORKSHOPgh cough)

After few hours with this game and after 600 hours in Transport Fever 1, here we are with pros and cons

Pros
+ Steam Workshop is the real deal
+ Funny
+ Complex
+ Full of customizations
+ nice amount of details
+ nice map generator
+ nice and simple map editor

Cons
- it can be hard AF for beginners or casual gamers, one single mistake and you'll have to restart the map, like TF1
- small menus, small menus everywhere, like TF1 or even worse
- 3 generic locations (Europe, USA and Asia)
- Same management gameplay of TF1
- only single player without AI nemesis or multiplayer, like TF1
- no day/night cycle or different weather conditions, like TF1

It's more like a Transport Fever 1.5 but the devs say they want to release DLCs, maybe there is something more to show.

For now it's a good game but a disappointing sequel

After few hours of gameplay, here we have some pros and cons

+ Dinosaurs. a lot of them.
+ Las Cinco Muertes. All of them
+ Finally a Jurassic Park manager game after Operation Genesis (2003)
+ Graphic is cool and polished
+ Sound is great
+ some rpg elements well implemented ("Yes, Science!!")
+ if you're a JP/JW fan you'll be satisfied
+ Photomode

- we have only Campaign, Sandbox and challenges
- Campaign is scripted
- Sandbox is based on the campaign islands and nothing more
- Challenges are the same islands but in time attack mode
- you can't retire/kill dinos
- standard maps are small
- no map editor (you can modify the managing part but only in sandbox)
- no day/night cycle (only in sandbox)
- no Sea creatures
- no Air creatures (only in DLC)
- no Site B (2003 Operation Genesis did)
- you can't choose where you want to put the park entrance
- you have meteorologist but you'll have 1 minute to prepare for the storm
- you have only "clear", "rain" and "storm" as weather conditions
- new Jurassic World characters are annoying (except for the JP original cast)
- financial managing is too much easy
- "switching island" campaign feature is quite nonsense because you can't transfer the money but fossils and rewarding minerals yes
- the sniper part has to be revised because it looks like you're shooting paper balls
- you have missions and contracts but objectives and rewards are kinda nonsense to me (why my employees want things from me? and why they have secret dinosaur as rewards? where did they get those?"
- ok, it's not scientifically accured, but why there aren't feathers on dinos at all? why i can choose colors and rpg characteristics and not choose more realistic contents like feathers?

So, it 's a good game and perfect for the fans but it lacks on contents and the managing aspect has to be revised.

DLCs are expensive and they add too few things.

I know, maybe i'm too hard with it, but it's 2020 and a 2003 game and a mobile game have more interesting features than this brand new AAA game

Buy it on sale for now, until Frontier Devs releases more stuff.

An almost definitive masterpiece. Played again and again and again.

+ graphic was light years ahead of it's time
+ sound is immersive
+ gameplay is definitive, you have shootout, airboat, dune buggy, story driven sessions, scary and horror session, that damned gravity gun, platforming, a primitive group strategy, civil war, decadence
+ story is simple at its best
+ source engine is magnificent

- it ends quickly
- it's aged well... but you'll notice it quite soon
- its sequels aren't so much great (and the main story is not yet finished)
- the italian dubbed version is awful
