this mod, which is one of the best things i've experienced in gaming, turns army simulation arma 2 co world (arma2+operation arrowhead+private military company) into first class zombie apocalypse survival experience. loot, kill zombies, survive in wilderness or in big cities, eat, drink, heal yourself, drive car, heli, bike or go on foot, use all kinds of weapons, from axe to top killer army rifles, beware of bandits or become one yourself, or try to become hero, be loner or team up with other survivors... these are things you will experience in attempt to survive. as game itself says "THIS IS DAYZ... THIS IS YOUR STORY."

and this is only mod, can't wait for standalone edition which will bring tons of new features. think it is scheduled for this summer (2013).

best ever fps war-combat. real simulation of army may sound boring to someone, but when you try it, you'll be sorry for every spent minute on games like call of duty or medal of honor :-)
arma 2 with operation arrowhead and 3 dlc-s (private military company, british armed forces and army of the czech republic), brings one of the most realistic and definite fps action games. it is way harder thand standard fps games (cod, moh, etc.) so you need to give it a chance until you are used to it. then it becomes your favoure game.

another great thing abour arma 2 series is modding. and by it i mean dayz. the best mod ever made for any game. it boosted arma 2 sales to become one of the best selling games since mod is released. dayz became one of the most popular things among zombie, horror, arma 2 and gaming fans in general very soon, so standalone version of dayz is almost finished and soon coming to steam.

if you want to really feel zombie apocalypse world, play DayZ mod, and soon standalone on steam (not shitty lame rip-off "the war z" !!!). but for ultimate action-pumped zombie co-op survival, L4D2 (and L4D) is best and only choice.
