A great sequel, I enjoyed it. Very story rich, hilarious and meta (as in 4th wall breaking). There is no voice acting and it is text heavy, so I played this game bit by bit. There's usually a little quip or blurb to discover in a scene that's entertaining but personally I wasn't able to play for too long in one sitting. It doesn't flow as smoothly as a story in a book or the flow of a fighting game. But it is very fun and I enjoyed it.

I believe it references to the first game a few times so play that first. Not much of a hardship lol

This was a cute visual novel style game that relies heavily on picross/nongrams to progress the story. If you're not good at them or dislike them, this game isn't for you since you can't skip them (there is a hint button but it just highlights numbers). The store page game summary gives a pretty good idea of this games vibe but it is a very linear story. No move is ever wrong and when you fail the hacking portion, it lets you try again as much as you want. There is some lgbtq representation and some mild gender discussion but nothing too deep. I found the game to be funny but it is very rooted in the time period it is set in (1996), and it might not be as enjoyable for people who don't know who Barbra Streisand is. Not to gatekeep or anything but there were jokes from at least twos generations ago lol it just might not be as enjoyable

I found the picross/nonograms to be about medium difficulty at the end (lol if you're looking this sentence and then at my play time: I played this after work and I was pretty drained, as well as letting the game sit while I went to do other stuff). If you've eaten and not drained from work, it'll be fine).

While the vibe was generally good, I couldn't help but notice that two of the three fat characters were designed with ill fitting clothes because... well they're fat. Mostly, their button down shirts straining or poorly buttoned.

There is also a gaslighting controlling ex-husband that was in the story a little too long for my tastes, as well as an invasive mother that's never pleased with anything.

Some game mechanics that were annoying but minor. The game doesn't explain how to do the nonograms or what to do. There are some buttons at the top that will temporarily mark a space but it was never explained nor is it labeled with anything. Dialogue goes by fast if you just rapidly click but letting you hold it down should've sufficed imo. You also can't exit the save menu without saving, which is a weird problem.

Funny, with a lot of pop culture references and breakage of the 4th wall. Cute in some respects and every character was.... well, a character. Everyone had a lot of personality and it was great. ^^

As a point and click game, it's relatively easy. Though at the beginning I didn't know you had to click and drag things to other items to combine and not just click on them to 'hold' them with the cursor.

And as a bonus hint, you can just exit conversations with the left button on the mouse to speed through replays to get the last of the achievements. :>

I mostly liked this game, except for the last portion of the game when it suddenly turned into a platformer. The battle itself was not complicated or difficult but the lack of explanation on how to utilize your powers made it very difficult. The game uses picture hints but that makes it quite difficult in a first time battle setting that also happens to be the final and only boss character.

The puzzles were challenging and the level designs were pretty nice. It was hard to click on a few things and I can see some people getting frustrated with figuring out what the picture instructions/hints mean. There was a decent amount of world building in the game through these loose pages that you can find that are like a beastiary of the different characters you come across. Those were entertaining.

The general plot had some holes and you just never have an explanations. Like why things are happening, why the bug queen is evil, what's with the jewels, why is the necklace in her dresser.

I got this game for 50 cents and it's not worth it if you pay the full $5. It only took me around 5 and a half hours because I wanted to get all the trophies of this one mini game. Gameplay is a little better than the first, if you did buy the first installment of this game. For everyone else who made the wise choice of not buying the first one, gameplay was about average with almost zero creativity in making it enjoyable. You can't make it more difficult so it should take an adult with a clear mind to figure out any puzzles rather easily.

The art that made the first game a little more tolerable was missing in this game but the creators tried to make it up with crystal dolphin fairies. Yeah, you read that right. Crystal. Dolphin. Fairies. The story and voice acting was again amusingly subpar. There was also the added hint of racist white savior complex to it as Anna, the girl you're directing (who incidentally is white) has to rescue the children, who happen to not be white. I suppose you could argue that one of them [italics]were[/italics] white but it doesn't change the fact that is the only instance non white people even show up in the game. Like, why did you even bother with that?

The only time this game would be worth getting is if it's on sale and you truly have not much to do. Obviously, I fulfilled both requirements because I got this game for 50 cents and I'm down with a cold. I still finished this in a day and was mostly unimpressed with a lot of elements to this game. Story and voice acting was subpar, the hidden objects portion was kind of... not so great as well. The ending made no sense to as why a villian would just.... blow themselves up, like they couldn't afford for a little bit more lines from their actress to show a mental break or something?

Definitely not worth $5, barely worth the 50 cents and the time I spent on it. The voice acting is almost hilariously terrible. There is one point in the game where they have all the greatest works of art in some super secret hub and it is all Western art. Like, really, you couldn't go the extra mile and google (or go to the library? I'm not sure when this game was made) the greatest works of art from other places than France and England?

I really doubt the creators and the company put a whole lot of thought or emotion into this, it feels like one of those games that are chugged out mechanically.
