Profile _

KING ATTILA THE HUN {} I LOVE HUGS to everyone that visits my profile {HUGE HUG} :D

No one knows for sure who the Huns were; some people think they were Turkic people, descended from the war-like Xiongnu [or Hsinung-nu] tribes that menaced China in the 5th century B.C. and perhaps much earlier. The first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang built the Great Wall of China to keep the Xiongnu out.
The Xiongnu conquered lands north of China including Mongolia and parts of Manchuria and Siberia. They remained roving hunters and warriors without settlements or farms of there own, at least that’s what historians used to believe. Modern Archeologists found out that the Xiongnu built cities and grew crops. The ferocious horseback warriors [Xiongnu] invaded China again and again between 304 A.D. and 439 A.D. northern China was over run with rival barbarian tribes including the Xiongnu in Chinese history this is called the sixteen kingdoms. The Huns were separated in Hordes.
Mundzuk was Attila father and mundzuks brother was Rugila at the time Rugila was Hunnish king then Mundzuk had two sons, Attila and Bleda.
Rugila stepped down and Attila and Bleda shared the throne from 434 until 445 A.D when Attila plausibly killed his brother Bleda.
Attila the Hun was a fierce barbarian warrior and king of the horse riding Hunnic army during the 5th century, who harassed the Roman Empire. Attila was born around 406 A.D. and was king and general from 434 to 453 A.D. Attila’s first order was to make the most feared armies Asia had ever seen. In 434 eastern emperor Theodosius the second gave Attila and Bleda 660 pounds of gold to keep the peace. Attila used the gold to strengthen him self and his armies.
In 441 Attila attacked the eastern empire. He passed through Austria and Germany and plundered and devastated every thing in his path. After the death of Bleda Attila started an aggressive military campaign that conquered lands from the Rhine to the black and Caspian seas. Then engaged Constinople and Ravenna. Attila battled twice at Chalons but the allied Western Roman Empire and Visigoths defeated him both times and forced him back across the Rhine.
In 452 Attila attacked Italy known to Romans as the scourge of god, Attila headed for the western capital Ravenna, on the way he destroyed the following cities Concordia, Actinium, and patavium. Regional people fled in fear before Attila’s armies.
Attila died in 453, on the night of his marriage. Attila was not a heavy drinker but he drank heavily in celebration of his new bride Ildiko (he already had 8 wives). He passed out on his back and has a massive nose bleed which caused him to choke on his own blood. He probably died from esophageal vertices rupturing. This is a hemorrhaging of veins in the throat and stomach a result of acid reflux a cause of alcoholism common even today.
He died at the age of 50 and scared many nations he was a great warrior whom many feared, Such a tragic death for such a great warrior.
