The landscape is dull and brown, the missions mostly boil down to knocking down a flimsily-constructed building or two while under fire from angry space marines, and the leaders of the uprising on which the game's plot is centred seem to have an embarrassing but mostly harmless misunderstanding of the word 'guerrilla'.

However, once you play for a bit you realise that this game is actually pretty good. The storyline missions are inventive and interesting, the unlockable weapons and gadgets are varied and satisfying, and there's a jetpack. Jetpacks are cool.
