Manage food production/expansion/composition (apple farms vs. dairy famrs vs. wheat farms vs hopp farms).
Manage weapons production (iron for good armor/swords, leather (dairy farms) for mid-level crossbowman and macemen, wood for bows/crossbows, etc.).
Manage popularity (beer-from hopps, taxes, liesure/torture devices (artifical buff/nerf to happiness, including negative), a well-balanced diet, etc.).
Setup your castles defences (walls, gates, traps, towers (and types), engineers, and siege weapons).
Assault rival castles (ladders, moat-filling, fire, siege weapons, how to best storm which positions first). This will happen fast, so plan beforehand, as you likely won't get backup (at least for awhile).

Overall, a fun, complex, easy-to-learn castle sim. A must for any RTS/Castle-Sim player.
