A great, cozy game. Had alot of fun playing. The cycle of the game is kept fresh as you develop your diving gear and restaurant, easing feelings of staleness. Certain systems that the game introduces as you play start to feel overwhelming and a chore to engage with, but can be interacted with at your own pace and serve to further accelerate the development of your gear and restaurant. A recent QOL update was added midway through my playtime, which made the game so much more smooth and intuitive.
The game has alot of personality. One particular thing I liked about the game as you progress though were the minigames. They are inspired by many other franchises that you may have played in the past and really added to my enjoyment.
One thing to note is that this is an ADVENTURE game. If you watched the trailers, you can see some of the potential bosses that Dave is challenged by. I was really caught off guard by my first boss since I was just chilling and catching fish, but it was a welcome surprise.

It's like playing a deckbuilder, where you have fun building a deck and then you play the deck and that's also fun, except you don't have fun playing the deck.
