- TW: Shogun 2 (been playing since the original, it was a long wait) - TW: Empire - TW: Napoleon - TW: Rome - TW: Medieval 2 (but not on Steam, all the best mods are offline) - Skyrim (been playing since Daggerfall, I love them all) - Oblivion (but not on Steam, must have mods) - Morrowind (probably still the best... but again, mod it!)
I never understood what all the hate was about. This is a great game, both the strategy and the battlefield aspects. Of course, I am a European history and culture buff, so it's a joy for me to see all my old friends live again.
I played the original version from 2000 until the second version came out in 2011, and I have played every TW game in between. There's nothing like the original though - though the battlefield fights in 2 are amazing! Still, I loved the throne room in the original, and I wish it had come back, with the animations and the advisors and the heads coming back to me on platters from angry daimyo.
