This is a good game, I bought it when it came out, but only played a few hours as I found it too scary but at the time of this review many years later I finally finished it. better late then never. and it's a good intense game. those that love the alien movies will love this game,

Fun little game,
But it's hard to give it a perfect score,
when you get defeated you get well you know X'ed
The problem is that if you are a guy it will always be the same female gobs or as a female the same male gobs,
Even if you get beat by a boss there is no special game over scene,
It's just not fun watching the same game over animation 20 times.
With my little rant being over now, the game itself is fun, it's basic story, but funny.

First of this game does look good from the outside looking in.
But overall the gameplay is much to be desired.
for the overworld map, it's just building up your base, can be a bit confusing at the start if you are just used to the old Shogun 2 way of things but nothing you can't get over,
You also have several different resources you need to collect to build things, this is realistic but is also a pain, as most units require upkeep costs as well with more than just gold.
But this is not the reason I refunded the game.

The battles.
I played a total of 5 battles during the time I played the game,
all 5 battles I was the attacking party, but you would not know it as the enemy just came to me each time.
even when they were supposed to defend their settlement they came to me.
This I found annoying instead of making the best use of the landscape they were brain dead.
And even the battle animations could not save it for me at this point.

It's no fun if you can simply stand there always at the best position even when you are the attacking side.

in the end I could not get into it, even Rome total way did it better and I am not speaking of rome2,

Map size is okayish, not the best not the worst,

I do not recommend this game at it's current price, this game should be 25 euro at best, maybe 35 with the future dlc

So far my first impressions aint good,
This game is just a stelaris mod. it plays the same it feels the same it's the same.
the voice acting is much to be desired it sounds boring. like they just used the staff they had on hand.

gameplay itself
Battles. boring so far ships rush in and orbit while shooting, there is no control or flow for the battle,
they should have been more inovatinve. If they wanted to keep combat simple just give us battles like they did in star trek armada,
building goes slow, but that is not right away a bad thing.

That leaves starting positions you see the screen shots up there on the game page that are your staring positions, so far I have not seen a random starting position option for the game, you will always start with around 4 systems right away and already know the 4 major players that is fine for lore playtrough, but why not add random start positions where you start with just one system?

This game has both good and bad points, my overall score for this game is around 6-7 out of 10

First off the story starts really rough and almost made me refund the game, but it does pick up later.
Now i do think it's good to know that this game is a collection of maps and will not have seamless transitions between space and landing, you can't fly with your ship around the planet you can only land from space mostly you use the ingame map to fast travel around all your destinations.

the gun play is mostly good, and I see a lot of modding potential in this game.

Now there are a few things I dislike about this game one is how you keep track of quests It's just all one big pile of them and there is no way to sort them from side mission to mean missions making it hard to keep track on what to do next, there is also no level indicator on the quests until you howver over the system the quests wants you to go,

It's not a bad game, but I also think it's not a great game,

The Story is amazing, this is easly worth it's asking price and more.
Don't wait for sale, buy it now and support these devs, they have earned it.

About the game,
this is a turn based stratagie game where your character takes turn during combat,
During such turns you can do some fun combination attacks.

The dialog is written well and has an good story, the only thing you might like or dislike,
Is that some dialog options have a dice role, like intimidate if you use a dialog opion using it a dice will role, most you need to reach a dice role of 10 or more, and if you fail you fail in your intimidation, The same system works for lockpicks and disarm traps,

Overall I gave this game a 9 out of 10 rating.
This game is something other devs should use as an example for their own games,

A good game, sad it took so long to get an official english release,
If you like the Legend of heroes series be sure to add this one to your list.

This game is a fun little thing, and I played it and fully supported the developers, now I see they did a big money grab, by selling the expliced content what was a core feature for all who play this game was once free now under a paywall.
I don't mind DLC I buy enough DLC for projects I love, but to cut sometihing out of a game that was already there and then sell it to us again is scummy,

So far, this has been underwhelming,
sure you can look at the model and move it around a bit, but I see no way to import your own Daz models,
or to make scenes with the models to export, this is not a game either,

The most potentail I see in this is as a tool to make scenes for your own stories to share, but that is as far as I know not possible,

The model interactivity is also limited to just the base body, you can use morphs to change the look to a certain extent, but that is all, as for the private parts they can't be interacted with, and if there are sliders for It I missed it,
That brings to to my last topic the sliders for the morphs are all Just thrown in there nothing is orginised like why no have all main body sliders in one place all face sliders in another tab and all emotion sliders also in a difrent tab, but no, all if it is just placed in one long bar you need to look trough,

In short don't buy this.

So far it's a fun game, and I am enjoying it a lot.
the only thing I dislike a little is the limited inventory space and the potion brewing times.
combat is fun even more so once you unlock more spells, and there are plenty of those.
The game also has a lot of thigns to find, in and around hogwards So it's fun to explore around.
However there are many collection quests type of things wich that are a bit overused and not as
rewarding as the effort you put in to complete them.
First you have the Mirrors (Paintings) that you reveal a location with a spell and you need to find to location
to find a bug and lead that bug back to the Mirror to complete it for a little xp.

Then you have small statues you need to find for one of the professors to unlock the spell to unlock doors,
You have 3 versions of that spell version 1 you get when you first do the quest but to unlock doors that require version 2 or 3
you need to have the upgaded spell it's worth doing it for. but it's really hard to find those statues.

Then you have the merlin trail quests that are simple puzzles you complete for 80 XP,
And they are all over the world.

And a few more that I won't name but most of them play similarly.

I believe there are atleast 2 more of those types of quests.

The biggest problem I have with them is the rewards, they are at this point not worth the effort,

but overall the game is all good fun, and you will get a lot of enjoyment in the combat and flying around.

I do recommend this game for all those that are harry potter fans, there is a lot too see and to do.
And it's well worth it.

For me the game ran without any problems
