After playing the game on a first run through, and never know much of the frontier (if it is one) never have I fell in love and wanting to take game slow and enjoy the whole game. Yes I bought the game on cheap 3+ years later but for what it is and time consuming as it is to play, every moment is well worth it.

Never have a game encourages you to be curious and travel the world of the game. Yes there are a few downsides for me personally but aside it's really minor downsides it's worth more time and the story itself is worth more than anything I've played for such a long time.

Let's round this up to 8hrs total game play.

If you like starting from scratch of civilisations in some sort form this is a game for you.

So let's start on the good things.

Scarcity of bag space, and one of those few tutorial in game that you have to keep an eye out while learning to build a house. Your tools are more important so you are in a constant need of upgrading it when you have a chance. While fighting monsters be prepared to kill or be killed scenario. Animal skins and or different hides can become a harder to find if you have +2 people on the same server. Music is amazing and entraps you in the world and the type of views you get in game can and probably will grow on you.

On wards to the points where you are sitting on the loo.

Graphics are a bit bare bones, so don't expect to much which can also deter some players. Boss monster or giants will chase you till you die. So expect to have a spare set of gear of what you had before. A lot of the things you expect is not intuitive so be curious to solve that problem (ie recipe lock items). The buff and debuff from the world from the cold and such is not shown till you dig out what it does to you. Unable scrap an old item (though that might be me not figuring out how to do that). Weapon combat is a tad clunky.

If you are planning to play this game, make sure you play it that is willing to play with.

So.....for those who have actually played the Streets of Rage games from the past...Yes, dear god, yes it is an amazing game, it feels like i went back in time to play a game that I truly enjoy. Also the more you play the more you get to enjoy some of the different version of the characters you once played and love.

For those who haven't played the series before, I would say 'Don't buy this game' but if you always wanted a simple beat'em up game that actually warms your fingers up for playing ie MOBAS, or FPS games it is totally worth it and the real challenge like the older games, you can't block and gotta be smart on your thinking and reaction. The only downside that I have a gripe about this game that they didn't take from the older version is the ability to 'run'.

This game itself is a reminisce and making and old game truly shine, you want a hard game you got it, you got a simple learning curve you got everything else...*nods* yeah you got it also. This game is unrelenting, punishing and dear god it makes you want to improve.

It is unique in deck design, obviously in beta/alpha. Having no mulligan is really sucky on some matchups so your deck construction is really necessary and has to be on point

Okay first things first....I have not being a big fan of most rpgs in general as of recent years....but this has made me want to sit down day-in day-out. with only 5 hours into the game...it has a lot of simple tales of vengeance, honour, thievery. I am keen to look forward what the game brings.

Weapons are fairly simple to the old school jrpg's so improving your gear and finding out what your enemy weakness is a big benefit.
One of few games that makes you pinch pockets and scrape for every coin you get is starting to look more of an apparent thing.

There is no idea on the difficulty on a stealth game until this one came rocking around the corner...Even on normal the learning curve and the puzzles on planning and executing a simple target ranging from 1-5 targets can become a puzzle. To top of the maddness of killing unsuspecting "victims" or "bystanders".

Heck causing a ruckus and having the AI go looking around for the guys who killed their guards will be promted with additional bodies on the ground and searching the nook and crannies from here to there.

Again as the implications in the game title this is really a game you rely on shadow tactics... Also for new people who want a stealth game that will beat you down on normal difficulty give it a shot and be prepared to weep, cry, flip your table in frustration because you are too impatient for an oppourtunity to strike.

I am going to be blunt with this game...1st things 1st
It is similar to mount & blade series....with a dab of fantasy
Losing characters at higher levels will be felt like being kicked in a private place...
Permanent injuries just as bad as losing a character if not worse....
Wishing it had more items to work with than well certain things...
The art is very simple with tabletop games for minatures for units saves times and animation.
12 guys on board vs 20+ is always fun
And running away from undead, orcs and goblins is a legitmate if your playing ironman mode....
Downside to the game it is a sandbox and silly patrols catching you in the middle of the night.
Overall give the game a 8/10

In the end will recommend buying this game....Expect silly things such as..Lost fingers, Brain Damage, Lost Nose, Broken Arms and Knees, Decaptations and more to come if you like that bleeding the guts out of the AI cheating bastard in the dark from yonder.

One of few games I had some trouble going pass the initial areas with certain archetypes. The game in itself is challenging fairly low graphic requirements with a great story to boot of your character trying to survive.
