I don't know what it is, but I can sure as hell make a kitchen out of it!

A public group for anyone who plays Dwarf Fortress. Need some help with the game? Join up!

Dwarf Fortress is the Rogue-Like medieval fortress-building simulation from independent developer, Bay 12 Games. Its classic graphical style allows for endless variation and countless features.

Naturally, this pile of possibility is a bit difficult for newbies to grasp all at once. Use the Wiki, and ask questions. Anyone in the group should be glad to give answers if they can. That's what we're here for. Join up and have fun!

Pretty much a RTS with DK-like trappings. Rooms are fixed, and basicly function like RTS buildings. $20 seems fair

After 5 hours the game becomes pretty boring, so I'd wait for a sale. No blocks to build with is a huge problem, no invasions is another oddly missing feature, and dwarves have no meaningful needs beyond food and sleep, and lack any sort of personality

Just as much fun as the classics, of which Terror from the Deep was my fav just because of the setting. This is a buy IMO
