Oh, immortal GunZ, how we missed you! Wait, you changed... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?

After long years waiting, we finally have the second iteration of "GunZ: The Duel" on our hands, and it's bitter sweet. On one hand, it bring us that K-Style, fast-paced pump action that we all knew and loved and the ever so memorable maps! But there are too many "deviations" from the original that keep this game on its predecessor's shadow: gone is the free-reign customization you had with your character, opting now to offer you only classes with very limited customizable options.

The addition of special moves, like a Hurricane Kick and a Deathslash are cool concepts on paper, but take A LOT out of the skill based game that was GunZ. Who likes to be one-shot with an uninterruptible special move from behind? Only with Headshots, the most sublime art in GunZ, do I condone one-hit deaths.

AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON MATCHMAKING! WHAT MATCHMAKING?
"Are you new to the game? Are you an old veteran of the original game, but have already forgot how to play the game? Here, go play with level 20 characters that kill you with three hits from a sword-cancel Butterfly and reload shot."

All in all, it's a great game. If it was a totally new experience, or If you never had the luck to touch the original GunZ, I would recommend this game. But with the memory of the original still imprinted in my mind, I find it lackluster, and do not recommend it for the OG GunZ player.
