We Like To Game Competitively And Whatnot!
This group is used to organize Pick-Up (6v6) and Highlander (9v9) games for the Alpha Omega community. If you're interested in playing Pick-up Games with others in our community, feel free to join up.
While we're not entirely, totally serious, we do expect a higher standard of play than we do in a regular public server. This means that:
-Any normal server rules are in effect here
-We expect everyone playing with us on a regular basis to either have or work towards getting a microphone. Communication is important.
-We expect everyone to be respectful.
-We expect people to be somewhat knowledgeable about competitive playing in general (see below)
-People should go into this with a positive, competitive attitude!

* Using TF2lobby.com: We use tf2lobby.com for most to all pugs, so you MUST be signed up with this! (It's much easier than it may appear, just follow the guide link below!)

THE BELOW RULES ARE TO BE POSSIBLY ADJUSTED DEPENDING ON WHERE OUR GROUP GOES FROM HERE. (2/25/13)
In our games, we pick captains in a few different ways. It is important to listen to what the leader of the room says, and stay spectator until the picks are chosen.
1. Captains: The captain that picks second has 2 picks while the captain that picked first as 1 pick. The last 2 picks go to the captain that picked first, with the "fat kid" going to the second player. If you get picked last, don't despair. There are many different aspects to team picking - it may be that a captain values the classes you don't like first, leaving you till later.
2. God: God may pick the teams. If God is picking the teams, do what he says. (God = anyone who is arranging the teams to ensure evenness). If you think they are stacked towards one side or another, however, please let him know.
3. Random: Sometimes someone will feed the player list into a randomizer to get random teams.
We have the following weapon restrictions in our matches:
-No Sandman
-No Wrangler
-No Natascha
(Also, currently all polycount weapons except the fish are banned, unless the whole of a lobby group agrees to play with these.)
