I have never played a game quite like this one. This game is different and well... indie. Two brothers bob and john made it. Story goes your small boat crashes on this island that was occupied with scientists and you have a fever. Turns out all the scientists are dead but from wounds not from illness. Dont go into this game expecting Skyrim. It is an open world but its a survival game. In this game there is only one enemy called "The Creature". And it stalks you everywhere and only randomly decide to try to attack you. You cannot kill it or touch it. You can only throw things at it or wave stuff around to try to scare it enough to get away (running and hiding is also a good option.) The point of the game is to find a cure for yourself, you need three parts to the cure which is not easy to find. You find documents and photos and maps that help you out but very little. This game is very stern on doing it yourself. Map? Here use your compas to triangulate and figure out where you are. Time? you have a wrist watch. Along the way you will need to keep hydrated and you will find various flowers, plants, and fungus that can enhance you physically and mentally as well as slow down your fever. Also yo ucan only carry around what is in your hand. He has a journal, thats where you put your pills, tonics, canteen, and research. Other than that you can hold one form of defense and the other hand your plants. No inventory. Carry what you can. Over all i highly recommend this game. Its diffferent, ambient, intense, and rewarding. Sorry for the long recommendation.
