[Edit 14/03/19]

My previous review was a bit hard. So this is what i think once the shock of the end is passed.

Mad Max is a pretty cool game.

Mostly : it's a great "gta-like". Missions are great / fun / intenses. They are a bit easy too, which is problematic since the scenario doesn't exist. To be honest, it exists but since it's only a big pile of misogynistic stuff and inspired by the worst of Mad Max.

Farming is almost ok since you can change cars, run races, take camps etc... But don't you dare finish the game. Stop at Act 4 and don't finish it, it will ruin your end-game, and keep playing after that is pretty hard.

I will spoil the end for those who wants to understand :

Everyone Max started to love dies. He is old and coming back for some "last mission", killing his supposed friend and acolyte and letting a mother (she's not much described by other images...) and her child die.

Everything is great except the story. Won't recommend it at full price, such a deception.

Hardly playable with a gamepad. No menu, no options. If you leave the game, you have to do it all over again.

Game design and especially sound design are great, the world in the game is pretty but the problems above (especially the gamepad thingy) ruined my experience.

Waiting for a better release because I believe this game has potential.

Cool game, but frustrating with a joypad. Mouse and keypad or nothing I guess. Buy it for like 5 euros max. It's no great game but they deserve supports o/

It was hard for me to decide wether or not recommend this game.

As a puzzle game it's not that great : many mechanisms are only seen once, controls might be clingy and Unity may fool your eyes with the fake 3D. There are some flaws in game design, especially some actions you need to do quickly which is not easy with thoses controls.

That said, the story telling is just amazing. We had some games through the years about totalitarism, but is was mainly some capitalism or nazism criticism. This games presents to you how totalitarism with worked (or not) under the USSR regim. There are plenty of clues and details and if you're old enough or/and have a minimum knowledges about the 80's west Europe, you can easily find yourself unconfortable or even frightened as this game seize the terror of the violence induced by the regime.

It's quite hard to explain why I recommend this game without spoiling much, but if you like a good history-telling and "ok" puzzle games go for it, especially since it's not a AAA price and made by a small studio beginning.

I thought I might like the game. I have rarely been this wrong.

First of all : remember this game is sold for 20 euros. (I let you convert it to your country's money but, spoiler : it's overpriced)

I will come back on the popular tags used for this game :
- Adventure : Not really. There is not much thrill or action in this game
- Puzzle : Not at all, there is only a bit of thinking to do to solve the murders.
- Mystery : Yes, it's mysterious
- Time Travel : Not really, you're replaying the same day over and over.
- Story Rich : Lol, nope

This game has great ideas. Really, I enjoy the gameplay, following the victims, the murderers, needing to stay hidden, unlocking "powers". But it's way to dense : you just the powers one or two times, and it's already the end of the game. I solved some murders by pure luck, not knowing it would solve the actual problem. It looks like a problem to me when you can solve a puzzle without wanting to, when the game is partially based on solving them.
I encountered some bugs (room being dark for few seconds when I enter them), and the controls with the joypad are sometimes clingy. It may be a problem with the hitboxes, but sometimes I had to try many times to just open a doors, not counting the facts that certains objects near doors activates while you just try to open the said door.

This game is full of good ideas but definitly too short and too easy to discover the full potential. If you want a short game (+- 5h to complete the game, 10h or so for 100%) with a nice (but not more) experience, go for it (on sale). If you're looking for stealth, puzzles or great story, don't buy it.

I strongly recommend Myst (I don't know about classical realMyst)
But don't you DARE buy realMyst : Masterpiec Edition. This remake is a fraud.

The game has all qualities and defaults the original Myst had :
- Great puzzles
- Various environments
- REALLY great puzzles
- Poor story
- Really mysterious and still no answers at the end

Well, if you like (more or less) difficults puzzles Myst is really a great game.
But realMyst : Masterpiece Edition IS NOT. The only positive point in this re-re-edition is that the graphics are really "good" (considering the original game). But the thing is that it is sold for 16 euros. With that you can buy 3 indie games, or a an old triple A during the solds.

Counting only on nostlagia and the hype around Myst, it's a shame the price is this high. Many achievements are buggy, you can't change controls for the "free roam" mode (which is really a problem if you're keyboard is azerty, it's not normal that you have to change your setup because you can't do it in game). Well, yes, I'm upset.

Don't support this kind of strategy.
Cyan, next time you want to remake one of your goldies, do it better or don't do it at all.

First of all : if you haven't bought "The Dark Eye : Chains of Satinav" yet, DON'T BUY IT. Buy Memoria instead. The first opus isn't necessary to understand Memoria, and it's a poopy game. Second, this game review ain't gonna be fantastic as I find this game beautiful in all points. It gave me a lot of emotions and made me travel.

Memoria is a beautiful point and click. The art is amazing (just check the artworks if you're not convinced). The character design is mostly great, even if sometimes you have to play that stupid Geron.

The story-telling in this game is simply amazing. You have basically two histories (one in the past, one in the "present time") who both gathers late game.

Sound design is great as well. Music and all.

The puzzles / enigmas are well balanced, not too easy and not too hard, perfect for my play-style at least.

I strongly recommend this game, one of the greatest point and click I ever played (including massive titles as Full Throttle or Grim Fandango), and for sure one the best game experience I ever had.

This game is fantastic, amazing, incredible, wonderful.

Well, first of all this game made me sick. Not sick as in "mad", sick as in "I wanna vomit". I don't know if it is that I was already sick when I played it, but I felt nauseated after half an our and till the end. I think my brain couldn't process the thing properly so it made me sick.

The game is cute though, the sound design is ok and the music great. Too bad it's just smartphone-like and there are no options to set up the volume or so.

The puzzles are really easy if you're used to puzzle game, and it makes the game very short (about 2h maximum, maybe a bit more if you want to unlock all achievements).

Not worth more than 1 dollar / euro for me.

Reaaaaallllyyy short game (about less than 2 hours).

Still, a nice point and click.

Nice sound design, nice story telling (even if the story is almost equal to nothing).

Not much to say since it's way to short to fully appreciate the qualities and flaws.

I enjoyed the game though.

PS : Don't buy it's full price, it's a good game but so short it's not worth more than 5 euros.

The game could have been fun but it isn't.

You can "100%" the game, meaning doing over 400 in singleplayer.

Multi is broken, you won't find anybody playing so buy this game only if you have one or more friend who's ready to play against you.

Not worth 0,99, less fun and replayability than some free flash games.

I usually don't do that pro/cons bullfece but this game doesn't deserve better.

+ Nice voice acting for main character
+ Great sound design
+ Some of the cutscens are really nice
+ This game promise a lot

- This game disappoints a lot
- Many characters with no personnality, or badly written, or badly played
- The end of the game comes as if you cut Empire Strikes Back in the middle
- Poor animation on small cutscenes, dialogues and in general
- You can see the """"twists""" in the scenario an hour before the main character has the revelation
- Makes you lose money
- Scenario poorly coming to the player
