Exceedingly fun roguelike. This is my first foray into this genre and I've had so much fun with it so far. The randomized (to a degree) progression and power cards are an absolute delight, and the sprites and tiles are wonderful.

Classes play distinctly different so far, and it's be a treat learning to figure out the puzzle for each one (I've played Mage, Druid, and Hunter at this point). Highs from Victory are high and the lows of getting pasted across the 8th floor of the sage tower are low. But it says something about a game where rerolling a new experience is something I look forward to.

Would highly recommend.

I have been with Galactic Civilizations 3 since the beginning of beta, and have had the pleasure of watching the game meet and exceed the capabilities of its predecessor. I eagerly await the release of the Gold version in May.
