Usually I don't like these types of games at all but Helldivers has a cool vibe going on, it looks great and its easy to get into with a minimal amount of meta progression systems. It's tense and fun to play.

There are several things that deeply frustrate me about this game. The cars feel way too heavy, there is no analog steering. It is never quite clear what race you're supposed to do next and the idea that you can select what type of race you want to do doesn't seem genuine, given the money and cars made available through, there is usually just one or two options of races to pick from. I find myself frequently having to retry the same tracks/races more times than I enjoy doing. This game doesn't feel like a chill arcade racer, but rather serious and difficult.

I really wish there was a tutorial of some kind where the player is taught to make turns correctly. I find that I constantly lose position in turns and then desperately try to gain again on straights. I can't figure out how to make better or equal turns to the AI opponents. Overall this game left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

A game with a small scope that it fulfils with very few if any flaws. Delightful and atmospheric, a pleasant 8-12~ hour experience.

A similar thrill to Outer Wilds

This is an absolutely lovely game in all respects. The charming retro graphics, the outstanding music, the delightful dialogue, interesting world and excellent combat. I usually don't enjoyed turn based/tactics type of combat, but the class and skill design allow for a lot of fun experimentation. Recommended!

CrossCode is an absolutely wonderful game in all aspects. It is chuck full of delightful little details, the gameplay is smooth as butter, and the story and setting keep you drawn in for hours. Its puzzles are challenging but fun, and the combat keeps you on your toes.

I cannot believe how this game has not achieved widespread acclaim. I can't remember enjoying a game off the bat quite this much. Given its price, it is an absolute steal.

Delivers exactly what it promises. Very addictive in a "Just one more mission" sense.

This is a lovely and transcendent little game.
