One of the "better" Battlefields, now unplayable thanks to hackers. So much fun to see my chat window flickering seizure-like with whatever malicious code said hackers are using to bork the game, and then getting shot non-stop across the map.

Maybe someday someone will take EA et al to court for selling games that are effectively broken--and in this case, malicious to your computer--but today is not that day, so don't buy this.

It's definitely not the best BF. It still has the goofy Fortnite-looking characters and no campaign for $60. But it's a far cry from the disaster it was upon release, and worth buying (at a discount) for the typical BF shenanigans. I got my money's worth, at least.

Sad that we have to congratulate publishers who release broken-ass games for finally fixing them years after release, but it is what it is. Until morons stop pre-ordering games this will be our reality.

Great game, especially when you can get it for $10 on a sale. Only downside is you have to be online and join a lobby to play alone. So you wait several minutes connecting to servers and the like before you even get to loading into the game.

Good lord, one of the worst DLCs I have ever played. Do NOT get this after coming down from the amazing high of RE8

Genuinely feels like the interns on RE8 were given all the assets for the game and told to have at it. Like, there are maybe a handful of assets in this game created *just* for this game. It even copies some of the structure of the OG game.

Dialogue is ass. Story is ass. It's incredibly short at just under 3 hours and has no replayability to speak of. I'm not even sure what this game is doing, canonically speaking. Rose wants to get rid of her powers to be normal, and then the game just rehashes several key points of the main game.

Gameplay is laughably slow and bad. They even somehow managed to mess up the 3rd POV; Rose feels like she's limping because she suffers a spasmodic jerk every time you make her change direction. Such an easy little graphical fluke they didn't bother to fix. The one good thing I can say here is there are two cool-ish boss fights/scenes, but one of them is just a shameless copy of Little Nightmares 2 (there's a mannequin that chases you, but can only move when you're not looking at it). As others have pointed out, almost the entire game happens in these tiny corridors which force you to use Rose's only initial power (freezing enemies) and you don't get the cool powers until literally the final boss fight. Like... what? And, as others have said, Capcom goes to eyebrow-raising lengths to hide Ethan's face for no reason I can think of. You sit there wondering why they made such a creative decision, which spoils the already-bad final scene.

This barely qualifies as a horror game. All the other RE games are chock full of those moments where you don't dare play it with the lights off and you find yourself leaning anxiously out of your seat to run away from enemies. I got a little anxious during the mannequin chase and that was it. This game isn't scary. Ironically, it might actually be BETTER if they did some cheap jump scares like Layers of Fear.

Even the graphics feel like a downgrade. The sound design is terrible. All the zombies have the same dying moan track that just pulls you out of the game. You'd think for a DLC that so heavily reuses all the base game's assets, they'd use all that free time they had left over to, y'know, make the rest of the game worth playing. Nope. It's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from beginning to end. Game feels like a pathetic moneygrab by Capcom. Were they too busy with the remakes and needed to push something out just to make their profit goals? Hard to say.

The one good thing I can say is that Rose, as a protag, is a good choice for upcoming games. She's more compelling than Ethan, who's not top-of-the-shelf as it is with RE protags. Looking forward to seeing her in the sequel.

If you REALLY want to play this game because you're a completionist or an RE megafan (or a masochist) then please, please only buy it on a deep sale. Even $10 feels too expensive for what you get. I'd say $5. Otherwise, go play the remakes. RE2, 3, and 4 are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spectacular and often drop as low as $10 in price. Or wait for RE9 in 2025, which will probably have Rose too.

Incredible game soured by countless bugs and poor performance. Already had one big crash that forced me to shutdown my computer. I recommend it only on a sale for 50% off or more. If it weren't for those issues, this would be among the best cyberpunk games in recent memory.

Cool gameplay, but the story is just so bad and it feels very graphically outdated for a UE5 game. Wait for a deep sale and for them to figure out all the bugs.

Worst Bethesda game so far, imho, and a bad joke in 2023.

Where do I start? Aged graphics, boring story, repetitive gameplay, endless load screens (and a fake "open world" universe that can't even do what Star Citizen, No Man's Sky, and others have achieved with current tech), a undead engine that needed to be put out to pasture a decade ago, lackluster performance and, you guessed it, hardly any updates since launch to fix the endless bugs and problems. It's not a terrible game, it's just an embarrassing attempt by one of the most seasoned and well-known AAA studios in the biz. Solid 7/10, if that.

Wait a year or two for it to drop in price and for modders to help Supbarfield reach its potential. Only hardcore Bethesda fans will enjoy this one in its current state.

Fun game, but try to get it on a discount

Pros:
-Fun gameplay and gun play
-Tons of cool cinematic moments
-Great sound design and graphics
-The inter-dimensional conceit isn't amazing, but it's fun

Cons:
-Mediocre Disney-efied story and forgettable dialogue
-Performance is not the greatest. Strange, since God of War (arguably more graphically impressive) runs far better than this cartoon game. You'll need a beefy PC to enjoy this at higher settings and/or with ray tracing.
-Steam Deck performance is atrocious. Very stuttery even on low settings with the FSR cranked up. I struggle to call this a Deck Verified title in any sense.

All in all, worth the money and a great game for kids and adults alike. Ratchet and Clank fans may be disappointed with how it stacks up to the classics. Feels like maybe PS tried to play it safe on this one. Either way I hope they continue to make more next-gen R&C games that use the tech in fun ways like this.

Wait for a sale since I see no reason to buy this at the full $60

Core game is okay, but the gameplay loop takes a while to get good. Boring as hell unless you play with friends. Blizzard should discount this thing for $30 if they've stooped so low that they have to sell it on a competitor platform, but I digress.

My main issue isn't with the micro transactions since I ignore those, but rather with technical issues. The graphics are years behind and yet they still barely work at low settings on a 2020 gaming laptop.

Server issues are non-stop and ridiculous. Why do I need to wait in a queue to play an essentially offline game? Sometimes the queue is infinite and I have to exit out and reload. *Sigh*, the joys of online-only games.

My GF nearly lost her +28-hour character from a random corrupted system data error after the recent update. One heart attack later, a check of the file integrity, and we recovered her character no thanks to Blizzard support. Apparently Battle.net's own launcher can't even fix the game lol. Thanks for saving the day as always, Steam!

Would love to think they'll fix this game, but that's anyone's guess. For now I'll play to get my money's worth before they take this thing offline.

Amazing, fun and punishing gameplay, gorgeous audio design that gives you goosebumps, great haptic feedback, and a nice distant cousin to Edge of Tomorrow's day-reset conceit. I came for alien violence, and that's what I got.

Only issue is, like for everyone, the performance. The graphics are good but don't explain why this game is so poorly optimized, resource-wise. I imagine it could run a lot better. Bugs haven't been an issue for me... yet. It's really unacceptable that they can't get this thing to run on the Steam Deck.

Still, I'm having a great time. Got in on sale for $40, but I'd wager it's worth full price if they ever fix the bugs and optimization. Play on controller with your best speakers/headphones to get the most of it.
