Skyrim is a massive game that has a large variety of features that the big companies won't tell you about. For starters, you have the ability to ascend into the heavens when hit by certain enemies. Giants, for instance, carry large clubs that from what i can tell, are equipped with anti-gravity technology. One good swipe from a club will send you rocketing into orbit in a blur of ragdoll magic.
Another thing this game does right is making sure you never truly immerse yourself into Skyrim. What I mean is, that the game always makes sure you remember it is just a game. Trees suddenly turning blue, ai glitching through floors, and flying animals (including 1 ton mammoths) all contribute to this feature.
One last thing Skyrim does right is with the fact that weird things can happen at ANY time. this means that even CUTSCENES can be messed up, such as a horse drawn carriage colliding with the player, thereby causing the horse to scream and get stuck.
For some, the attraction is the n00b friendly combat that makes it easy for a beginner to pick up and start PWNing like a L33T gamer. Can't quite aim with that sniper or shotgun? Just pick up a grenade launcher and get to work clicking.
For others, it's the thrill of getting an "unusual" hat that means having the chance to make everyone in the server jealous of the extra pixels on your avatar's head.
And yet for others, the thrill lies in farming for achievements so you can make all your friends absolutely green with envy. The wide variety of things to achieve means only the most dedicated of cheaters will emerge victorious.
Another sweet feature is the ability to trade weapons and hats to others, allowing for scammers, buffoons, and the lowest of the lowballers to interact with the rest of the world through trade.
Whatever your preference, you should DEFINITELY buy TF2!
If you like being unable to play the game because everything has turned blue, or you like all game sound being mysteriously muted, being unable to connect to many servers, server list not responding, laggy server lists, laggy gameplay, and a game that is literally unplayable at random times, BRINK is definitely the game for you.
Also, it doesn't matter if you're not the type of person with much free time...BRINK can be beaten in UNDER 24 hours. And I mean BEATEN, as in: highest rank, all weapons, all clothing options, etc.
Have had more trouble with this game than my (currently) 95 other Steam games.
Such potential, and good team game, is very fun when it works. If you want to risk it, go for it.
