At release I would have given this a postive review. The game was fresh, I personally dont have any problem with the new heat mechanics and the high damage, better sideways movement and higher damage is reminiscent of Tekken 5 (the best tekken, ofc).

But for now I would say to any interested buyer to wait. Bamco has overplayed their hand and think that a 70-110€ game should also have a sesonpass, payed cosmetics AND ON TOP OF THAT a payed battlepass. This is complete insanity, and honestly something i expected since Bamco does not really have experience with live monetization. This is their first attempt and compared to industry gems such as Warframe, PoE and the new shining star of monetization, Helldivers, they are just left lacking. No one wants to pay for Tekken 7 assets obfuscated from the buyers and removed from launch, complete clown behaviour.

The game is great and I have high hopes for the future of Tekken 8 but please vote with your wallet, play some other great games for a while (PoE has a new release, Warframe is trucking along fine) and let Bamco know that we wont be so easily fooled.

I will remove this review once the game is in a state I can endorse.

at launch i thought this game was a bit weak, but its @ a good place atm and only getting better and better. highly recommend as is if you are a fan of rougelikes, with the robocop feel

Are you a fan of "Ran"? I´m a fan of "Ran". Buy this game.

A good turn/backstabbingbased strategic game? Hell yes!
