Ys is one of those under-the-radar, hidden gem kinda series. If you love old-school top down Zelda games and Seiken Densetsu, imagine that, but about 100x faster paced with flashier combat and killer electric guitar on the soundtrack.

Absolutely gorgeous, and a return to form - this feels like a proper 2D Sonic, like the Genesis classics, or the Game Boy Advance games, or Sonic Generations. Except much, much prettier:) The boss suck though -- jeez laweez, these guys take a lot to kill!

Very cool game here. Great, colorful visuals and fun hack n' slash combat. Just be prepared to either play a ton to make enough in-game cash to actually buy anything good, or actually pony up real money.
