I was a unapid volunteer playtester when this game was in early access and saw it first hand.
He had no respect or appreciation for his staff or volunteer play testers. I quit after he went on rant and started disrespecting us during one of out meetings, telling staff and unpaid volunteers about how his new PR guy (that had been hired for PR) had done more work promoting the game than all of us put together in 2 weeks even though it wasn't in any of our job descriptions and I spent a lot of time trying to help the moron for free and none of it was appreciated.
There were at least 12 play testers, maybe more yet he only included 2 of them in the credits... showing that appreciation again.
I fully agree that PR never has been a storng point within monochrome's business practices and I find that the amount of posts that have been deleted that critisize heavily are met with threats and other accusations.
As much as I loved working on the game, I am glad it's over and I moved on because I have been ashamed for a long time to have my name and repuation affiliated with this god awful company.
Do I smell another deleted post?
