As far as open world survival craft coop/multiplayer games go, this is a solid buy.
- Building bases is fun, and you can warp the whole thing in it's entirety to many new locations of current interest.
- Coop/multiplayer works completely, and lets players level and progress at their own pace.
- Fun combat, enemies, weapons, armor, and boss fights.
- Flush believable and very detailed enlarged world.
- Tons of crafting and rewards for progression.
- You can tame, level up, call upon from a far distance, and ride the wildlife.
- Flying and Tarzan swinging is a massive exploration crutch for this game, and totally fun.
- Typical pesky annoying survival mechanics are balanced better, such as food prep for eating and equipment repairing, so you are not spending all your time at a crafting bench.
Basically, this is the Ant Man survival RPG you didn't know you wanted.

Early Access Review
Calling all heroes, your quest to smite evil awaits. Enshrouded is a fantastic cooperative/single player survival crafting action RPG. The world is very fleshed out and detailed and fun to navigate. Base building and combat have similar elements that have worked well from other great titles with their own twist and better balance. Interesting lore and story is sprinkled out across the game play for those that crave it. The class skills and attributes can be custom combinations, including less common coop roles such as healer and tank. There are secrets and puzzles as well. Graphics are solid. Totally satisfying to destroy and collect materials from just about everything. These game makers knew what the players wanted! Easy buy.

This game is a slam dunk. It has personality, style, and tons of action (equal parts swordplay and guns). It comes equipped with cheesy one-liners, old school boss fights, and a solid story. The skill tree perks satisfy the RPG fix. Creativity, aggression, and combat variety are rewarded, which is different from other games, and a nice touch. Guns are amazing, but its so hard not to just be sword master berserker.

I was a big fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl when I played it back in 2008. I purchased this game for the nostalgia and continuation of that FPS/Story/Environment. Sadly, this game didn't live up to that excitement. Exploration seemed less dense with points of interest, and a lot of more walking in open fields. It may be just the result of time aging the game unfairly. Combat felt the somewhat the same, but it was difficult for me to differentiate between friendlies and enemies. It felt more like an army combat game than a radiation mutated wasteland of mystery. I think the unique atmospheric magic I felt playing Shadow of Chernobyl was the main thing I was missing from this game. That said, the game appears complete and works, and I didn't experience any major glitches or crashes.

This game has potential. It's advertised as a FPS Survival horror walking simulator, but in actuality its mainly a walking simulator. I couldn't get into it. The atmosphere has a cool artistic setting to it, but that's about it. Picking up items and slowly walking was a bit of a chore. I don't recommend this game for purchase.

Pros:
- First Person Mode RE
- HDR Graphics, Atmosphere
- Memorable characters and enemies including boss fights
- Story and and Level design.
- Weapon variety and decent amount of expected combat
- Creepy unpredictable survival horror theme, that lives up the RE franchise.
- Fun factor an easy 8/10

Cons:
- As an average skilled player, normal game play seemed a bit unbalanced. Enemies can be super evasive swarming bullet sponges with cheap 1 shot deaths for the first half of the game play. I beat it, but you really need to nail your aim, and plan your travel paths, because evading is not an option in the frequent forced dark narrow corridors.
- Your movement run speed is hilariously slow when inside buildings.

Dark Souls III was my first souls game and it is a solid game. But, for those that have been living under a rock, such as myself, you are probably going to die and loose all your experience a lot.

I was determined, and managed to get good and progress quite far. The detailed atmosphere and enemies are VERY memorable, but you barely have time to soak in any of that polished game style, while getting wrecked. It is super satisfying to finally succeed in boss fights.

Friendly words of advice
1. I had no idea that choosing the custom character puts the game on extra deluxe hard-mode at the beginning, so just choose a class and don't fail like I did for 60+ hrs and find out at the end.
2. Try to avoid joining an invasion activating team, because in addition to the hard campaign, you will be invaded by other real players at the most inconvenient times, and you will just get wrecked by infinitely harder real players. Fun stuff!

This game delivers on so many milestones and completely stands out from the other Doom games. Creepy lighting, ambient noise, memorable enemies / bosses / characters, and lots of conflict to settle with an arsenal of weapons. All of this wrapped up in nice level designs, with one very persistent space marine. It is one of those few instant classic FPS games that put attention to detail to the next level. A game riddled with hidden secrets and surprises. This game covers many of my favorite themes very well; intricate gun reload animations, memorable new enemy introductions, and uncomplicated FPS game play with heaps of ammo.

Cool layers of story, atmosphere, and art. Easy 9/10 on the spooky meter, so keep the lights on.

The first time you pickup a shotgun, you know you have to play the whole game all over again. So if you are not an old fossil like me that has already played this game many times, then get on it!
