I cannot reccomend a game more highly. These developers have figured out what interactive media should be. There is a seamless connection between the narrative and the player, the atmosphere is chilling and emotional, and the game actually teaches you how to progress through its level design rather than command prompts, hints, etc. Its the antithesis of everything wrong with most of today's games. Like most indie games, Limbo is too short; however, while small developers don't typically have the resources to compete with mainstream games in terms of graphics and sound quality, Limbo 's minimalist art style, based on silhouttes and simple ambience, circumvents their limitations to make a game that looks and sounds beautiful and polished.

Great style, intense gameplay, really addicting.
