The world's best PC Gaming magazine and website.

If you want to join our most awesome chat (which you most certainly should do), we do have a few ground rules:

- Keep the chat civil. Lighthearted banter is fine, but don't act like a dick.
- Racist, sexist, homophobic or xenophobic language is not allowed.
- Discussing games is cool, but don't give away massive plot spoilers for new games.
- Don't promote piracy in any way. That means no download links, or asking for links to be PMed.
- Please don't ask for gifts or game/item trades in chat.
- Please don't put weapon/ item images in chat
- Don't deliberately misinterpret the rules for trolling purposes or smart-assery.

Furthermore, we request that you act like an adult when you enter the chat. That is to say that you should say hello and join in discussions politely. Do not:

- Enter chat to advertise your latest MW3 montage (or similar links)
- Enter chat and spam nonsense in order to appear quirky
- Enter chat and demand to be made an admin

And so on. This is all pretty straightforward, just be nice.

We'll usually kick on a first offence and temp ban on a second offence. If you need unbanning after a temp ban, get in touch with an admin.

We will also permaban you if:

- You're a spammer or someone phishing for account details
- You repeatedly break the rules
- You return with an alt account to avoid a previous ban

So RAGE...its a interesting title. Let me tell you first off I was surprised by the 20 Gigs of space this thing needs to download, so there is a lot of content I would assume. I played about 2 hours of the game I have to say I am really disapointed. Gameplay wise, its a ID game so its a pretty neat FPS with a pointless driving element that I felt personally ruined the flow. The problem is that techinically its a big mess. Texture pop-ins are EVERYWHERE. The engine does not feel optimized, and I get random framerate drops when I'm driving. Hell, in the beginning area anytime I looked at this one corner of a building in the area, the game would ust studder for no reason.

I RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS GAME. PLEASE, IT IS JUST BROKEN.

Well so far I've played about 3 hours into the game, I have got to say I have some mixed feelings about this game. To start, it is a Source based game with gameplay revolving around FPS and RPG elements. So let me get off to saying my biggest problem with the game. It does NOT explain itself well enough. There are lots of neat little features and such to this game that make it really neat, the way its presented however is almost no existant. I've learned how to play the game more effectivly through reading the useful loading screen tips than some of the tutorials. FPS-wise, its pretty dang solid in all honesty. You have 6 different weapon types with different varients and most weapons unlocked immediatly with a default blade you always have. Now it throws in some neat "Research" bits where you invest money to unlock differnet upgrades or items over time as you play. It is a bit open platform, taking hints from Dues Ex: HR, incorperating some very industrals tones to the level design.

*PROS*
• Very smooth graphics
• Should run on just about any computer
• Very satisfying when you accomplish rounds
• Good replayabiltity
• Variety of ways you can beat levels
• A "talent tree" aspect per game, so every game you can set up differently
• Vareity of traps and weaponry
• Upgradable traps that give
• Good map variety
• Good humor and voice acting
• A good 5 hours on normal mode, then being able to unlock nightmare.
• Multiple profile system.
• High score and leaderboads.

*Cons*
• Voices later become muffled over noise.
• Some lagging.

Overall, MUST buy at $15. Do it now.
