While it is a Call of Duty game, Black Ops is really worth the sixty dollars you will pork down. Having mostly played TF2 and L4D2, The Call of Duty franchise are not for large-team based games. This is a very one-man-army oriented style of gameplay. So if your a team player, avoid this.
The system: Meat-grinder. That pretty much sums up Call of Duty in a nutshell. Quick spawns, almost instant deaths and quick movements are what Black Ops is all about. If that is the type of game you will like, then buy it. If not, and your into more strategic, team-based games then I highly advise you to avoid this and pick up TF2, L4D2, or even Bad Company 2.
The interface: The controls seem smooth enough, once you get the hang of it. You can crouch, run, sprint, jump, prone and all of those combined. It's pretty action oriented.
The customization is worth the buy, but not worth the extra price-tag by in-game COD (gained in game, not real money) points.
