2nd Ranger Battalion

We are the 2nd Ranger Battalion for DOD:S. The Unit's current officers are:

Colonel George (COL.George) - Commanding Officer, Server Maintenance, Finance and Unit Consultant.


Captain Barberi (CPT.Barberi) - Unit leadership and server administration.

1st Lieutenant GrimReaper (1LT.GrimReaper) - Unit leadership and server administration.


We are based off the WWII unit the 2nd Rangers. Who fought in many European campaigns during WWII. We use the rank designations from the second world war for the ranks of the unit.

We are a G Rated Server at all times - this also includes sprays. Please keep them clean.

Friendly Fire is ALWAYS on.

Source Mod radio is running type !radio in a chat window to listen.

We are a team work unit - you will not be considered for the Rangers without team working skills.

NO Foul, Racist, Sexist, or Hateful language.

Disrespect will not be tolerated.

Do not team kill, if you tk accidently, please apologize. Continued tking will result in kick/ban.

No Mic or chat Spamming.

If an Admin asks you to do or stop doing something LISTEN.. If you don't listen you will get kicked/banned.

Don't ask for a different weapon or for a new map.

No deployed mg's in spawn or deployed mg's facing spawn.

No spawn camping or nades into spawn.

Do not recruit for other clans or advertise their servers.

No Cheating, Hacking, or Map Exploiting.

Respect the Admins. ( Anyone with the [2nd.Rgrs.] tags. )

Respect all members and non members in our server at all times.

These rules are added to or changed as needed for anything not already covered.

RESPECT and FAIRPLAY at all times while on the server and in the Rangers.




All ACTIVE members use the [2nd.Rgrs.] tag IN FRONT of their Steam tag. A rank based on the historic 2nd Ranger Battalion from WWII is awarded to each active member to denote participation, performance and recognition for a positive effort during Unit activities. Each ACTIVE member also then adds their hand-picked individual name. Members with the {MP} designation have also been awarded limited or full gameserver administration privileges.

If an ACTIVE member ALSO is a guest member of the AA/82nd brother clan, the [AA] tag is added at the end of their Steam tag.
