Early Access Review
I am loving this game, I just started playing during Patch 0.8.1d. The class/subclass system is simple to understand, but the passives/skill leveling is in-depth enough to create any build you want. It is one of the most beautiful ARPGs I have ever played. The devs have done some great work since this initially released. Multiplayer is planned for this year, they are going to introduce leagues and a trading system that can be used in game. Also the crafting system is beyond amazing, having over 2k hours on Steam PoE and probably another 1k+ on the client PoE, I wouldn't trade the crafting system in Last Epoch for anything else.

TL:DR - After playing the game for a couple hours, it was easy to see how this got Game of The Year by IGN, it is fun, beautiful and well put together in all aspects.

Beat the game after 13 attempts, which is really low to my knowledge, on average you may be looking at 30-35 runs, getting more powerful before you clear your first run. Overall the game is amazing. Story is beautiful and you still have a lot more story content to unlock after your first clear. I may have like 30-40% of the story unlocked at most.

The graphics are beautiful, I love the Bastion team and their art style. The music is also amazing, very few games do I enjoy listening to the music while I play, but this game always had something good for the given situation. Also the voice acting is top-tier the characters sound amazing.

The combat is flawless, I never feel like I got hit because of the hit-box being wonky or being over burdened. The weapons, boons, and gifts all feel great and provide a complete different game-style to how you approach each fight.

My first good run I had the sword and got a life steal relic, but reduced my overall health by 60%. My second good run was with the spear, I got a relic for my special attack that pretty much turned my spear into a rocket launcher when I threw it, and just boosted the special damage when ever I had the chance. My 3rd good run, which is the one that I beat the game on was 100% cheese/coward tactics. I had 3 cast spells, so I would summon my stones and they would auto target and cast lightning on the enemies/bosses. So I would just run around scared for my life while they chipped away at my targets. I finished my final run with exactly 1 life point left and no revives. Felt amazing.

So after coming back to play the 13 series, one of the few I haven't beaten currently next to 12 and 15. I actually enjoyed LR more than the previous installments. I liked 13, but it had way too much gating until you hit chapter 11 I think it was? When you get to the Steeps.

13-2 felt like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess to me, I enjoy QTEs, always have, but the story was just nothing when it comes to FF. I haven't beaten LR yet, so I can't say much on the story, but so far the combat is miles ahead, and I'm still not a fan of not having a traditional leveling system, but at least I feel 100% control in combat where if I lose, it is because I didn't time something right or I attacked when I should of guarded.

Update: Beat the game, got the true ending, and honestly this was the best of the 13 series to me. The time gating wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be, I had several days left over when I got all the quests main/side done. I was legit going to town, sleeping to 6am and waiting for the final day.

Honestly, this game does everything correctly. I love Pokemon. Hell, I love a good amount of catching games rather they be on PC/Mobile or console. This game does a great job at bringing it to the PC and turning it into a MMORPG. Catching Temtems, trading, buying. You name it, this game is on top of it. I wish Shield and Sword wasn't such a meh game, I'm happy a friend told got me into this. I'm having a blast, I play solo just enjoying having a good Pokemon replacement for PC.

Overall I have no complaints for an early access capture game, I can't wait for them to release all the Islands and Temtems, I'm not a very competitive person, but I have ti have a team that is better than m friends so it pushes me to build my team up more than usual. I also love the fact I can buy Temtems from other people with the ingame currency Pansun. Honestly this game is great and happy I bought it early.

I have played every Final Fantasy game including the spin offs like Tactics and World. I'm currently knocking out the last few I haven't played this, Lightning Returns and 15. I have never not liked a Final Fantasy game, I always enjoyed myself. This was not the case. I truly hate this game, even after fixing the bugs and looking past the game breaking bug that made me reset 7 hours into the game. If this game ran perfect with no bugs, I would still not recommend it, watch a lets play if you want, but this game is horrible. I truly hate this game.

This is one of those moments where I want to put Yes and No. I really like the Sunrider games, but this one just felt meh to me. It was decent progressing the comon route, but once I got into the specific routes. The story just couldn't hook me in, it had some good, funny, and sweet moments, but overall the game just wasn't there for me. I dunno what to say, like I said it is a yes and no for me overall. I think it will be good/great for some people, but for me personally it just fell flat.

I enjoyed the story, no complaints, but I'm also not someone who cries about every little thing in their life. I rather have a good time than be a piss-ant whiny little man-child.

Not many game I enjoyed as much as Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor/War. Talion's story was amazing from start to finish.

It amazes me what people ♥♥♥♥♥ about when it comes to games today. I've bought this on the SNES/PS1/DS/Vita (I honestly buy more games from my childhood than new releases) and PC. Guess what the game is still just as great as it was 20 years ago. Gamers just love to ♥♥♥♥♥ about everything, that is all it is. If you like Chrono Trigger and want to enjoy the ease of playing it on the PC or just go ending/achievment hunting, buy it. If not, don't. There are no huge flaws or anything like that period.
