My name is Mike Reid, most people call me Mike or Snake; whichever you prefer is perfectly fine with me = ). I live in San Diego, California one of the hottest places on Earth.....Yes, I believe A/C is one of the greatest inventions ever thought of = D. I'm 17 years old, and a junior in highschool and freshman in College; my birthday is March 8th.
I go to Bethel Christian Assembly of Alpine, GO BETHEL!!! = D, Sorry, just had to say that = ). Wonderful Church with wonderful people, currently we have about 230-260 people regularly attending on Sundays. I'm also very active in the Children's Ministry at my Church, I'm a small group leader and I also do a good portion of the skits that we put on for the lessons along with many other things. I love kids and I love seeing their relationship with the Lord grow.
I'm currently working for Pizza Hut in El Cajon, as an insider. What does that mean? I do absolutely everything and run around like crazy = P. I started working there just year ago, and they wanted to promote me to shift manager only a few months after I started; sadly they can not until I turn 18 = * (. Just recently my boss tried to get me into classes for Assistant Manager of the store, which is an even higher position, need to be 18 as well xD. *cries* Oh weellllsssss.... The other job I'm working currently is my old job before I started at Pizza Hut that I just restarted a bit ago, which is remodeling and renovating houses along with a bit of advertising.
It's a crazy life isn't it? Running around trying to get from there to here when we're younger, trying to find ourselves, find somebody else, and hopefully get through it all in one piece ready to take our future by the horns... Something I've found is.. You can't do it all, no matter how hard you try, if you keep stacking those books they're going to fall. But, with god on my side I keep walking, I keep striding, maybe I'm not doing everything, but I know God has my path set and I'm just going to keep walking it. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, but you know... Everybody does... I have the most amazing supporting friends that anyone could ever ask for, that sacrifice a lot for me... I can't always be there for them, but I do my best, every day and every moment... I just pray God uses me to change this world, to influence it.. To help mold it.. As being a Christian admin and working with people from the world around us, a person's hope for humanity diminishes, but I pray and hope that I can be an influence in somebodies, anybodies life... Even a little.. That's my dream.. That's my life's wish.. That's what i stride for.. No matter how much it hurts me, physically or mentally, I will always place God and another person first.. I know that sounds maybe cheesy or like an act, but get to know me.. And maybe that will change your mind.. I stand for God.. and I stand for the right.. I'm Michael Reid, and dog gone it... I'm proud of that..
