Before the hiss of static that followed the order had even faded from their ears, the sergeant's voice barked with renewed urgency. `Cancel that order. We have a new target.`

Lumberin into the breach in the line before them, crushing the smaler creatures unde the weight of each of its ponderous steps, came a huge beast. It towered over its brethren, and ignoting them utterly. It stood on its hind legs, twice as tall as a Terminator, and, in place of forelimbs, there were two giant scythe-like talons, easily longer than a man. Its head protruded forward, with an immense jaw shimmering with jagged teeth. From a bizarre growth sticking out of its abdomen protruded an ornate, bony barrel.
