The New York Surf Community

New York Surf started up with the elites Super`, Aenima, and </LIFE> creating the original New York Surf around December of 2005. The server was up and running with a dedicated fanbase for over a year, even though some of the elites didn't show up that much. FAJ, the amazing map maker, joined up around the start, and became one of the contributors by payment as well as many of the maps on the server. However, the server could not hold funding coming into spring of 2007, and although Akron loaned out a server to keep it afloat for a bit, it was an inevitable crash for the beloved community. 711 and FAJ, two of the longest running supporters and contributors of NYSurf, started talking during July about restarting the server, and it went back up on 7/11 with the third tier added payment by Sneaky Pete, who had been in and out of the community since January/February of 06. Now we are back and as good as new with our new server!
